  1. I want to say the atomlab pimp rims are the strongest out there, or at least one of the strongest.
  2. I hadn't seen one woman riding trials in almost 5 months of watching trials videos, i guess i didn't have the right keywords. Neither of those sites worked for me but I found http://trialsqueens.net/UK.html . I wish more women would ride trials.
  3. I was strolling through youtube and I came across this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mh8xnaCI2c...feature=related She's not too bad either, I wish my rear wheel hops looked like that. More vids in her channel http://www.youtube.com/user/terrainracer
  4. Its really preference and terrain. If you like riding more natural such as rocks or objects that larger wheels can easily go over then you should stick with a stock. Mods are easier to move around on because of size yet their small wheels may have trouble rolling over some obstacles. In the end you can ride any terrain with any bike, but if you like the feel of a mod better i'd say go for it.

  6. I have yet to injure something other than my shins, but I have gotten a few nasty puncture wounds, literally little holes in my legs from my animal pedals. Take quite a while to heal and a big pain in the ass.
  7. I need some new shoes for riding as my old manchester selects (by lakai) have gotten all beat up and there are holes in the heels. I want some decent looking, not hideous bike shoes, that will ride will and provide good grip. Also the cheaper the better, but not too cheap as they have to last a while. If anyone could recommend some that would be great. Cheers.
  8. f&$king great man, loved the video and I remember your first one as well. Inspired me to ride my inspired, inspired (heh). I wish there more more vids of TGS 24''s, maybe a few more in the next vid
  9. Hey damon where'd you pick up those nice 6.0's you had in your tgs 24'' vid?

  10. lol, edited. I'll be sure to give it a try tomorrow.
  11. I have probably reached a combined riding time of about a month now and I finally have a great opportunity to practice my rear wheel hops at an empty skatepark. I feel my trackstand is pretty strong, and I have no trouble hopping on flat ground. I've been trying the first method from ryan leech's tutorial vid that sergio put on youtube (front wheel goes on a ledge about 2 feet high and you lean back and try to hop). I ride a fourplay, and I have fairly large animal bmx pedals. I really havent solidified my foot placement but usually the ball of my big toe rest on the axel with about an 1-2 inches of my toes hanging off the front of the pedals. When i attempt to hop my front wheel always goes back down and hits the ledge and then i just end up moving the front wheel up and down awkwardly without actually being able to hop on the rear wheel. Any tips or advice would be great, cheers.
  12. I figured its about time i changed my brake pads and i was reading through the pad review topic and tried to find some of them either on ebay or at a US based store. I wanted to buy at least two sets to last me, but on top of the sh*tty dollar to pound exchange, combined with international postage taxes its something that i really cant afford at this time. I was wondering if anyone could point me towards a good ebay store (or seller) where i could pick up a couple of pads, or a US online store where i could buy some.
  13. 1. I would say inspired or Tarty 2. Dream bike that i don't have would be an 09' Gu Le, otherwise a fourplay 3. Damon w. ryan leech, danny mac, or dominik raab
  14. I would think lighter, stronger frames. Possibly some sort of magnetic pedal clips or something of the sort. Maybe a change in braking as magura's seem outdated, if not at least different pads that would take years to wear down.
  15. just for peoples reference, the macaskill b-hop.
  16. In no order: Damon W. Dave Marshall Dominik Raab Ryan Leech and benito.

  18. lol, yeah i lowered the pressure in both my front and back quite a bit. I sometimes hit my rim when i hop on an edge or something. I figure most of my wrist/elbow problems are coming from putting my weight on them for longer periods of time. COMPRESSION ***.
  19. great stuff mate, i'm shooting with a d60 and the nikkor lens as well. If you figure out how to take some nice pictures in the dark without a flash, please let me know.
  20. hes better than me at age 5... D:
  21. some plastics are stronger than metals, however its hideous look could indeed make it the worst
