  1. It is. It's an '02 frame so was designed before these new fangled mega-stretch frames. It makes it really short and flicky for tight UK DH's though so for that reason, I love it
  2. For when I'm feeling racey rather than trialy: My Turner DHR.
  3. I do everything exept new wheel builds and rear shock servicing. As above, its very relaxing spending some time tinkering tweaking.
  4. Great vid! Some really impressive riding there, especially given you've only been at it 2 years. Also great to see someone riding nice and smoothly, even on big gaps and drops. Always good to see.
  5. Old pic of my 2006 Tunni' sig Zoo! Pitbull. Excuse the colour scheme mis-match, the old setup was on an Orange Zero frame with blue decals, and I cant swap my blue jockey wheels onto my tensioner 2006 Pitbull Orange Trials fork Chris king ISO rear hub on Trialtech drilled. Echo TR front hub on Trialtech drilled. Front Hope Mono-Mini Rear Mag HS33 Trialtech riser bar and stem. Echo 7075 CNC cranks and Echo external BB. Trialtech lockon grips. Maxxis Minion SlowReezay dual ply rear tyre. Maxxis Advantage single ply front tyre (not in pic) And for when I'm feeling racey: My Turner DHR.
  6. Do it whenever you like! It's always interesting to compare your old riding with your new stuff and see the difference. Unfortunately lately, mine's gone the opposite way and I'm left thinking "oh man, I used to be able to do THAT!?" :$ Remember, very few people are like Danny Mac and can blow people away with even more extreme video's every few months. Even if you just enjoy making video's it doesn't matter if you've got better or not, and there's certainly no specific time limit between one and your next.
  7. Best comment ever "Point of having a forum you cant use all of the features? none at all...." The Validation system prevents spammers and people who just want to fill the forum with useless "buy my stuff" and 11 year old "zomg I want a bike for Christmas" threads, and keeps it as a place for technical/knowledgable bike trial talk for people who have a genuine interest in the sport. This I would say gives the forum even more 'point' than most other generic bike forums who are too full of cr4p to make any attempt at reasonable chat. It's like going to an exclusive nightclub, you don't want riff-raff coming in to cause a mess. Probably Ironic I'm saying this while I'm still not validated myself but i'm following the rules and being paitient like everyone else did. Had you read the rules you might have done the same and possibly had a chancxe at getting shot of your stuff in the appropriate forum.
  8. I'll second that. The amount we spend on our bikes i'm sure we can all afford to buy a helmet. Other than that, cool video and some nice riding. Maybe try and mix it up with flowing one move into another rather than just clips of individual moves, though that's just my preference in videos.
  9. I have one in blue I miss my old school bike. An original 14" Orange Zero with Cannondale P-Bone forks. D521 rims and a Chris King rear hub, controlled with Mk1 HS33's and FSA Powerpro cranks As nice as the current Zoo! is to trial, its never felt as fun as the old Orange. That thing would do it all, trials, street, flatland, XC, the lot.
  10. Sheez, I come back her after 6 years and I instantly get reminded of the good old days!
