  1. Defo' a stock with that wheelbase!
  2. Your judging a brake by its looks? Tyres are just the standard Echo ones. Rear one is very good.

  11. Yep! Then chuck all your weight over the front whiles exploding the drive chain. ( Sound like Ryan Leech..) Also, not sure if you are or not as i cant tell from your video, but when you take off, turning your whole bike slight side ways helps alot. So say your gap was a 12o'clock, if your right footed like me you will angle your bike at about 1, or 2 o'clock. If your left footed then probably 11 or 10.
  12. Yep boil the pads in hot soapy water then scrub them down with sandpaper. Did the job for me
  13. I'd say your technique isnt bad at all! One thing I've noticed though, if you pause the video at 10 seconds, your weight over the bike isnt brilliant. Maybe if you really chuck your weight more over the front you will be able to go further. Everything else looks pretty good though mate.
  14. Just too make sure, sand them down with some light sandpaper. I found that the quicker you find out they're contaminated the most likely you are to 'decontaminate' them as the pads usually soak the oil up. Get some boiled water, add fairy liquid ( trust me it works ) and scrub your rotar with a Brillo pads or something along the same lines. Keep scrubbing it until you dont see any more oil coming from the rotor. Leave it to dry then wash it down with water to get rid of the dried up soap. I remember when i did this, i didnt think it worked. Turns out the rotor was covered in soap. When i went out and it started to rain it washed it all off leaving me with an awesome front brake! Hope this has helped mate.
  15. Absolute animal! His other videos are cool as well. Would be interesting to know how high that siddle hop is though.
  16. HAHAHA 10 grams!?! I'd say more 7grams..
  17. Hold is basically how well the pads grip to your rim surface, and actually holds you on doing something off a curb to a 13ft drop. If a certain pad doesnt have enough hold then the rim would slip through the pads. Hope that makes sense?
  18. Check here for set up / pad details.
  19. I see what you mean, but what's the point of grinding a rim if your not going to run a rim brake? Lovely looking bike Lewis, looks like your going to be good on it aswell from the video!
  20. had a wicked day riding some lush rocks in/rear sheffeild!! :D

  21. Heatsink Blue pads. I was amazed how well they worked on a smooth rim, really really good!

    Ozony Curve

Yep totally agree! Trialstechs im thinking
  23. Might be wrong, but curved forks might make your wheelbase longer.
  24. Check all the splines on your bb and cranks mate, make sure they're not worn.
