The whole benefits system does seem to be one big balls up at the moment and probably part of the reason that the chav/ layabout culture seems to be growing rapidly. Benefits shouldnt be cut altogether though, as sad as it is a lot of these people are never going to find work for one reason or another (stupid, criminal records, 100% bone idle) even if their life depends on it. What will happen is similar to Canada where there is little or no benefits for the unemployed- the streets are FULL of beggers and homeless people. Its horrible there, literally every street corner some dirty begger will come up to you. Id rather have scroungers living in their out of the way council estates (yes i know not everyone that lives on a council estate is scum) than tramps all over the street.

I have a statistics exam tommorow, and this is my weakest subject by miles :) can anyone shed any light on how you find Standard deviation using a Casio (FX-85ms) calculator? I dont have the steps for how to do it the quick way by calculator in my notes! If you can help then i will sing your praises. funnily enough the exact same thing happened to me and i was considering making a topic just like this but dismissed it as me just being unlucky or something. My Monty foam grips ripped within about two weeks (probably 3-4 two hour rides) and now feel so bloody irritating because of it. So that was a complete waste of £5 :lol:

my technique is to read through chapters and topics and get the main points onto paper in the form of a mind map. I find using colour, images and patterns makes it easier to associate stuff and remember things. Once you remember the main points of the topic that are listed on the mind map it should be easier to remember more detail that you have read up on in the chapters (but not had space to include in the map) I used this for all my A-level subjects and got good grades, so im using it this year for my degree. Might work for you might not. Random Example found off Google....

woah woah woah sweet child of mine! It used to be that just Danny and Tom (admin) could validate people due to limitations with the forum settings. Now these two guys are busy enough not only with all the rest of the forum- but with their lives too! (shock horror :D ) so unfortunately they didnt have the time to spot every good new member and validate them straight away. Favouritism is complete and utter bollocks- they dont know any of these people being validated so why would it be 'favouritism' and 'who you know' ? anyway now the board has been upgraded or something mods can now validate too, so your chances of being noticed and validated are far higher now. So just keep making good posts and getting noticed and you WILL be validated. thank you

im swaying towards Lib-dems at the moment purely because my local area is a tight race between conservatives and Libs dems (labour have never been in power in my area i dont think, and never come close) Lib dems have been in power here since the last election and have done a good job in my eyes so thats good enough for me. I cant stand the conservatives so i really dont want them in- and as our area has the oldest average age in the country they always do well with the older voters :D so i need to make my vote count locally. Nationally i would like to see Labour back in power again. I really dont think that anyone can say our living standards have gone down since they came in? in fact the opposite i would say- which is important to me. As someone else said remember what the conservatives did to us last time they were in! compare that to labour and its ten times worse.

I want to be a succesful entrepreneur. Its not the money that drives me, but the thought of how empowering starting a Business up from scratch and building it up would be. Being succesful and proving people wrong is all the motivation i need. Thats something I would like to get out of bed every day for, which probably couldnt be said for most of the dull office jobs I'd end up in otherwise (Y) Whatever i do i just dont want to end up working 9-5, hating every moment of work, living for the weekend and before i know it 40 boring years have gone by with nothing to show for- and im retired!
