  1. Haven't they got a lifetime guarantee as well or is that just me dreaming again?! I remember when I started riding in about 1999 and middleburns for trials were the dream!
  2. DB9 £103,000 Cygnet £20,000 Therefore Black Sky £849 Affordable shitter £169........ Come on, worth a try!! And what about a Foxx, thats affordable, although for skinny peeps!!
  3. This is an 06, thought the geo was 1085, 377, +15 and 72. Thats what it says on the trials wiki anyway so I could be wrong, will have a measure and confirm when it arrives today! And it's cost me £70 with a rear wheel.
  4. Should say on the back of it shouldn't it??
  5. Will just have to see how I get on with it then, don't know without trying! If it doesn't feel right I'll just look for summat else!
  6. Outdated geo and heavy don't concern me, I'm coming from a zenith!! Do you know how much the frame weighs??
  7. Think I've seen revolution years ago, what was the vid with all the aussies in it??
  8. I'd just give it a good flush out with water and bleed it with that, I was very dubious about it at first but did mine when I had to take it apart and had no proper fluid and it works great now!
  9. Aye there's a t pro ending on ebay at 12 tomorrow with no bids at the moment and starting at £80! If I had the spare cash I'd buy it for the sake of it!! Love spending money!!!
  10. Just been having a quick flick of the Meta website and it says at the bottom that their frames are so I was just wondering if anyone on here had actually snapped one??
  11. I love it how the magura website says And the profiles in question?? Trekking, enduro, all mountain, x-country and xc race. Yet again we go un-noticed
  12. I use a long on my stock and a short on my mod, guess it just depends on the setup of the bike really.
  13. Will do if they ever get removed, only got them a few weeks ago so will probably never get removed for a good few years yet!!
  14. Dont know whether it makes that much difference, all I can tell you id the fit of the metal backings on my maguras is so tight on the o ring I can't get them off!!
  15. Should do as if the pads stuck to the disc the lever would still return
  16. Not sure on the weight but going off what the modern Control's are I'd stick my neck out and say around 1.8kg maybe?? It'll definately be lower than 2.2kg of Zona though! Yeah I suppose your right about the geo, I need to get out to a big ride sometime so I can get the feel of some other peoples bikes and see how they ride. Until then I'll just have to keep coming up with excuses for the wife about why I couldn't turn down such a bargain when something pops up!!
  17. Wheelbase: Long 1085mm Chainstay Length: 377mm BB Rise: Long 15mm Head Angle: 72 degrees I've literally only ever ridden my heavy tools trials and have no idea of geo on that, a zenith and an 07 python so this means nothing to me in terms of how it'll ride!
  18. Had a search on google for a pic and came up with the geo from trials wiki But still interested in how they ride??
  19. Cheers Ben thats the kind of feedback I'm after!
  20. Hence my post, tartybikes will advise you on how to modify that particular tensioner to work with that particular chain all you need to do is either drop them a phone call or an email! Why spend more money on another tensioner?
  21. I also thought stuff like in every mag have a ride out with locals, to get rider profiles of not just professional riders but people who ride for the enjoyment. Say, if there's a ride in Leeds then tag along, take a few pics for the mag, get some bike specs and some general history on how they started riding, why they do it, if they wanna go anywhere with it. What you reckon?
  22. Yeah purple is too dark to go with black so I'd stick with white, or change the colour of the frame!
  23. As shown on Tartybikes page for the rohloff tensioner-
