  1. Not really, of course the rider it's the most important thing, but 15 kilos of difference, I think they make a difference. Probably riders as Jordi Tarrés, Eddie Lejeune or Tommy Ahvala could have reached the level of Toni Bou if they had had a -15 kilos bike. I'm not saying Toni Bou or current riders are not praiseworthy, but as I said, 15 kilos are a lot. Edit: And great video!
  2. Well, it makes a HUGE difference. That video was recorded in 1994/1995, the bike is a '94 Beta Techno. The rider is, as the title says, Takumi Narita, Japanese trials rider, at that moment he was in the top ten of world best trials riders, with others such as Jordi Tarrés, Marc Colomer or Tommy Ahvala. The bike weighed around 85 kilos, more or less, when the currently ones are around 69/72 kg. That is without considering the power of the engine and so on, furthermore the technique has improved a lot. So the age of the bike, matters.

    Onza Comp

I actually like that bike. I'd say it's a smart-built bike - you saved weight in parts you can safety do it, and you've got other parts a little bit heavier that will rest a lot. Furthermore, it's really cool. Great!

    Sidehop 1,25Mt

COngratulations mate, 1'25 is very high, I'm atm sidehopping around 1'20
  5. They could at least actualize their web with the new pedals/ frames on.
  6. Zoo! PIRANHA?? Why the name change? Neil says this is the new Pitbull...
  7. And, going on with that, what happened to the Tartydays video??
  8. That is EXACTLY what I think, everything in your whole answer lol
  9. Absolutely agreed. Although having a fresh-looking Pitbull is good, I'd prefer the philosophy of "+ 300g, + 3 years" lol EDIT: And I wonder why Echo don't update their website
  10. The song is Master Shortie - Dead End I actually loved the video, I was there and we were a lot of people, it was just amazing. 2:35 is Gerardo Garcia - Spanish trials legend. In the video there are a lot of good riders, as Alberto Muñoz (on the Rockman with Giro's helmet), Fidel Ceada (on the Kamel), Pablo T (Ozonys), and me too
  11. I have some 175mm Trialtechs on my Zoo! at the moment, they are great for doing gaps in my opinion, but when I ride natty they look as if they were too long and as if they were going to crash with every rock/obstacle. I think 175mm on 20" it's too much, I'd prefer 165/170 maybe.
  12. It's great man! I like it a lot, and the frame seems shiny Have you done something on it??
  13. I've got a 09 Python, it's just awesome. I can't understand why they stop selling them anymore, because it's strong as hell. I've crashed a lot of times, hit it and, one year and 3 months afterwards, it has only one dent, and a very tiny crack over the booster weld. The problem is its high price (it cost me 450 € here in Spain), as you don't mind weight (I guess). Anyway, I love the look of the 08 Typhoon, but they all break, I've seen around 7 or 8 broken in a half. (Guessing: I've seen they all break over the bashplate weld, may be a solution running a bashring?). And I don't know anything about the 07 Tp. My opinion is, I'd choose the Python between them, but I do prefer the look of a 06 Python, cheaper, probably stronger, and with no bashplate weld. Hope this helps! And sorry about my English, I'm Spanish
  14. that's awesome! nice frame and ridiculous price
  15. That was a s**t translation. I've read what Raul said in Spanish and, to sum up, he says that that is the real weight of the bike, and it hasn't any "homemade" drills or so. As said, the bike is for a rich boy, even the rear tire weights a little bit more than it should.
  16. Did you mean trial-bikes.com? If you did, yes they've the Coust Original pads (or that was what I thought before riding this topic). They are reliable too. Coust pads Edit: hahah You beat me! lol
  17. hahah that was what I first thought
  18. I've just seen this on the YouTube, he cracked his pelvis but... I really really LOL'ed when I heard him hahah
  19. Absolutely ASTONISHING. Best 24'' I've ever seen in my life. Enjoy it Mark!
  20. Yes, Trialbikes.com is a Spanish shop. And although I don't want to defend the shop for the fact it's Spanish, I don't think they've measured it wrong in order to lie people, they don't have to. I don't know the conditions this was done, maybe Trialero_Nerja knows them, he has a closer relationship with the boss of Trialbikes.com In any case, remember this frame is the new one, it's lighter than the white one, it now weights 1'290 kg Frame
  21. Ugly frame and name, it seems to be designed and done in the last 10 minutes of a veeeeery boring day in Ozonys factory.
  22. Thanks! much appreciated, as soon as I can I'll get ones
