  1. what freewheel does it have on at the moment?
  2. Well you've contradicted yourself saying there's no difference, and then the inspired is better? I'm an onza zoot owner myself, and the reason it is a lot cheaper IS the reason why it's not as smooth. Smoothness goes down to bearings, geometry, weight, tyres. All of which are higher standard on the inspired. This is no reason to rush out and buy a load of things for your onza, as both bikes are very capable 24's.
  3. This makes me angry! Not only is it almost torturous for the child. Saying he enjoys it,ok maybe he does. But do you as his father enjoy pushing him to his physical limit twice a day?! and shouting "GO, GO, GO" at him because he has stopped or has done what is asked of him? When that child grows up, (if his body lasts that long). I think there's a high chance he will not take these sports much further, because of the memories of doing them. Support the child as you may, but forcing him do it twice a day is just sick! Edit: Also I'd like to see his face under that full face helmet. When he looked over his shoulder, was he over the moon? I think not, he's probably bright red in the face and absolutely knackered.
  4. Is this aimed at me? Just pointing out that manly men with wrecked hands are not 'in'.. it's more justin bieber, and er other men that barely qualify haha
  5. True! I constantly get people (girls mostly) being disgusted by my hands, and shins
  6. not really, wait until your hands harden up.. wearing gloves just makes it worse as your hands sweat, and the skin goes all soft and rubs away. Get some soft foam grips wouldn't go a miss, unless you already have them. I also hear of people dipping their hands in liquid paraffin, like rowers etc. Apparently it gives you brick-layers hands pretty much instantly. But do not do it and blame me if it all goes wrong, I only heard it
  7. It really doesnt matter which way you go, although when you start getting really high and tucking the bike up you will end up smashing your face on your knee
  8. what length cranks are they? look very long I love the look of dual disk bikes, they look so much tidier
  9. I'm a 'younger' and I ride a mod AND a 24" But I think having a bike that is almost as big as you,and then starting to falling off it (learning) can be really daunting.
  10. They are 2 lovely bikes by correct sense you mean one is on backwards?
  11. If only I had Photoshop!
  12. leave it is it is! Rawwed bikes look good
  13. Your commitment was incredible I did fear for your ankles on a few of those falls though!
  14. I was actually sad when that video ended! quality weekend
  15. T shirts like the tartydays ones would be awesome!
  16. I love this idea calling it 'The Shed' as well! top job
  17. 7Kg?! Do you even know it's there when you ride it?
  18. Don't listen to them! Wear some lycra trousers and no shorts, you're sure to win if you do that!
  19. the more you emphasise the move, the higher you (should) go. Really focus on getting your arse low, and springing back up! Just building up one pallet at a time is probably the way to do it. As for positioning I like to be slightly angled towards the wall I'm trying to climb. You want to be slightly further away the higher the wall is.. But that's about the extent of my knowledge, any slow-mo videos are always good to watch for technique. Hope that makes sense!
  20. nice! video of the quad tailwhip
  21. why are all your bikes so stupidly nice?! nice one!
  22. I did a gap like this a few months ago near the edge of a fall about this size.. (obviously the gap was small, as I'm not Chris!) But this gave me a horrible feeling that I got off lightly! Wishing Chris a fast recovery, and hope he's back on two wheels soon
