You can, just buy some re-fils, take the worn pad out, and glue the new one in. Alex.

I'm guessing it's going to be your metal hosing, when I had braided hose it went all spongy, try with plastic hose? Alex.

Surely if there wasn't much pressure going there, it wouldn't have cracked? I'd have though a lot of pressure would be going there, from the vibration and flexion(sp?) of the brake. As has been said, warranty is your best bet. Alex.
