Hey all, I'm about to slap a grind on my rear wheel for the first time, is it worth doing the front too?
Does anyone else do this? I understand there will be zero modulation but is this a big problem?
Cheers peeps
Chris
I've recently learnt it too as I struggled for ages... I found it clicked as soon as I practiced doing it on 2 wheels on the flat which helps with timings... Then when you have that dialled just apply it on the back wheel... Stick at it, it's taken me ages too but it just clicked all of a sudden!
Tarty bikes have a helpful video guide on their website which might help you... That and a lot of patience as they can be fiddly to set up until you get the hang of it...
Simtra
Does anyone know if this is worth a punt and what the frames/parts are like? Any idea of value? I'm 6ft 2 so looking for a frame with geo that may be suitable...which I know is completely subjective.
All comments welcomed
Thanks
Chris
Actually, I say that I feel more like 58 at the moment! I used to ride trials when I was 17/18 then started again last year. The bottle has gone and everything aches! Injuries take longer to heal but I certainly appreciate my riding more now that I can't just do it at the drop of a hat due to family commitments!
Gone are the days of riding for the whole weekend
