  1. That bike is gorgeous! It wasn't the most exciting video I've ever seen but I wouldn't say it was boring...I don't think you canbe bored watching something that you can't do yourself
  2. Fantastic, I really love that agressive "take no prisoners" style! Can't wait to see how you progress!
  3. Hey man, I too came back into it after a long break and originally rode at the same time as you. I was also (and still am) completely confused by all the specialist parts and things but you get the hang of it. I find it so much easier to ride my Echo pure than I did my Beast of the East, which is probably down to positive advancements in the sport and designing bikes in a way that do make moves so much easier - embrace it! lol There seems to be a few people on here that used to be into it mid-late 90's and had a brake and are now knocking on a bit...maybe we should all get together for a ride!
  4. Wow very thorough! So it doesn't makes things directly easier as such just weight saving advantages?
  5. Hi everyone, what's the deal with front freewheels. What are they for? What's the advantage? Do they make much difference? What happens on the rear hub? All help gratefully received Clueless and curious!
  6. A pub crawl on bikes sounds amazing! Is it just as it sounds? Drink, trials, drink, trials drink, trials drink, trials, floor!
  7. You are better than me and I have been into trials on and off for 13 years (granted I had a 11 year break)!
  8. Yeah bit pricey though... Cheers for the tip!
  9. Hi everyone I don't know the technical term but I'm after a downtube protector cover type thing to protect against bashes. Has anyone got a home made one? If so what did you make it out of? Ta!
  10. Thanks I'll have a gander
  11. I really fancy going as it is just down the road but I am not too hot at trials to be honest as I'm just getting back into it...are there going to be things there for all skill levels? Can you turn up without a bike and just watch or does that defeat the object??? Just worried I'm going to look a bit crap!
  12. Agreed! pretty much all Enter Shikari (heard the new one Quelle Suprise on YouTube???) and I love "it never ends" by BMTH...and Cancer Bats!
  13. Hmmm. I'm nowhere near your standard...I think I will be laughed at!

  14. Yeah sounds good...let me know when you are going out and I'll try and sort something out with the wife. I have a young daughter so I can't ride as much as I'd like but I will certainly try hehe...I'll watch your vid

  15. Yeah I agree I love listening to Spinnerette "all babes are wolves" from new world disorder 10. Loads of good tunes on Sprung 2 also by a band called Annalise...
  16. Yeah the sound of brakes squeaking is quite a nice noise having said that!
  17. Yeah about half an hour away...is there much of a following around there? Are you any good?

  18. Yeah about half an hour away...is there much of a following around there? Are you any good?

  19. The tool will be cheaper than a tenner and at least then you have it for the next time its slack
  20. Really? I've constantly got ear plugs in my ears....drowns out the sounds of my creaky bike haha
  21. Nice looking bikes...and every bike needs a bit of casual homophobia between its spokes! haha
  22. Hey everyone, what do you listen to when you ride to get you "in the zone"? Personally I like a bit of skater punk but a bit of Rise Against or Enter Shikari is also a good bet! This is a good pick me up when things aren't quite going right! All suggestions welcomed
