  1. Yeah this post was more a rant cos I was so annoyed lol, I just been to tartys to colect some new washers (in red to match ) so will trying to balance more this afternoon. Thanks for the comment about the look, just need to keep at it. And yeah things brake, the bikes do take hammer from what I have seen, so I got around 170 quid stashed for spares.
  2. So far I think its great, I'm no expert but I do find it easy to move about (struggle to get on the back wheel at the moment but practice practice will make me good) just gotta find a shop that sells the wheel nut washers as mine broke and the shop I got it from is closed today, I am not missing this sunny day lmao. Yeah the scratches thing, I wanted a photo before I fell and scratched all the stickers and paint off
  3. I can't I lost my foot stool, I'm stuck!
  4. how about stopping illegal downloads? then you wont have to be scared some hacker is going to steal your stash of porn? And most IP blockers lag like buggery, just browse safe... and rent/buy the dvd for f**k sake!
  5. Well here she be: Everything is as 'stock' as I only got it today
  6. The brief hour I had mine it was very nice, (never ridden another make style or model) but I did feel very comfortable on the Bird so yeah Onza ***
  7. Ok, so today I got my savings and went to my local bike shop in Keighley, spent nearly an hour haggling on price and freebies and got the bike at the average RRP: £389.99 with a free Helmet (need one so bonus) and a pair of 'cheap' pair of gloves, bonus as I would probably have gone and bought some later anyway. I got my new bike home and did the 'checks' I have seen on tarty-bikes video guides, making sure chain was ok, tyres seamed decent pressure, pedals were nice and tight, crank was safe, but I didn't think to check the wheel 'nuts'. Well I was playing in the back garden learning/trying to get my balance skill done to a t (I did ok ) and managed to endo and do 2 'hops' on the back wheel (cant figure the pedel up yet), all going well so far I thought, I had to cut my little play time short to go quote for a job and before I did I decided to get the feel of 'dropping of stuff' so I 'dropped' of a 2ft wall (yes I no tiny but I have never ridden a bike over the edge of something lol) then had to dash so placing my new treasure in the garage had a quick look over, chain was lose (the guy in the shop and tartys said it would first few rides) and then notice the front 'nut' washer was missing, I have found it in the garden. I has broken, the middle part of the washer has simple removed itself from the 'outer' case, I am taking the bike back tomorrow to get this issue fixed. I was just wondering is this a common part to brake? I don't think this should have broken as I did not try any Danny Mac stunts lol just simple stuff and had a little play to get the feel. I have attached a pic of my lovely steed and its broken bits Up-loader didn't work Broken part Broken bike
  8. Onza is definitely your best choice for a first bike (I just got mine today, Onza Bird), as to second hand or new its all up to budget: With a new bike you might be spending more money but its new, everything works and any problems take it back to the shop and they will fix. Second hand, might pay less but might have better parts (e.g. hs33 brakes) but it something else is wrong with it you gota take it on the chin. All depends what your after. Personally I wouldnt get the RIP, I was too looking at them as there cheap but the rear wheel is 20" not 19" like other mod bikes, but it cannot be 'upgraded' to a 19" tyre due to the frame size!
  9. Very very nice website, photos are also very nice, I too am loving the 'scroll' effect, very effective and something different for once. is a from me. (not that you needed my lol but I do like it )
  10. Bores so decided to photoshop some colours, although bored I'm also feeling lazy so there not 100% great but you can get an idea.
  11. How many times have I hear the valid members boast loads about 'Quality not quantity'
  12. WOW! another great informative intelligent reply to a topic, good show old bean! *mutters*same old names crop up again and again*mutters*
  13. It's always down to personal preference, I love white rims on anything, but I think the Fluro rims are kinda cool and the 'shiny' blue ones are kinda sweet. Gold = no no black = ok but meh'
  14. Shading yeah like the other said but you might want to try applying a hue filter to 'tone' down and make it look more natural, another way I use to do stuff like this is to make a new layer and apply a colour in the drop down box and make the 'orange' have a darker mask over it to make it blend in a little more? Do you use the pen tool to cut around the image? the edges look a little rough, maybe a tiny blur on a 2mm border might help there? Just something I messed with using these types of techniques, I no PS master but hope it helps?
  15. Yeah suppose, but my ear wont ever heal up and I think a picture of my mums face when she sees my lip rather than the lip itself would be far more entertaining !
  16. Had 18mm left ear done but had to take out for work and it has now been left so healed to about 4mm(ish) had my right hand web done a while back but using a grinder ripped it out!!! Thinking about lip but dunno if I'll look like a total cock or not

    Woo :)

Gratz, happy b-day have a drink for me
  18. I'm new to this too, did skating for years in the past, selling ps3 I don't think you'll regret it, I as yet haven't got my bike (gettin onza 2010 bird too) but still loving the comunity here, the videos on youtube etc.... so yeah, welcome I guess.
  19. Looking good, yeah wind was a bit 'odd' with the music but meh' its not about the sound really is it? Funny when them blokes were like 'do we walk or do we wait' lol, but yeah like your stuff. P.s. what's that song for this vid?
  20. Ok, well as with most mag's a 'incentive' or 'gift' is what helps sell I guess, well this was my idea of the style of thing but still a little project to keep me busy and nothing more yet. Thanks for all the feedback on it though' cheers dez'
  21. I'm thinking Monthly or the content would be wearing thin after only a few months
  22. Love the input and yes all valid ideas, and I am in the process of making the first 'mock' with what I can gather but as I am no trials 'junkie' yet I'm not sure about good stuff bad stuff That's a cracking idea, well at first I was thinking a d'load email style publication but if I can barter my mate down on his hosting prices could be an on-line style with interactive media. Thinking maybe competitions? (now sure how) and again freebies (not sure how or what)
  23. My question is simple, would you pay a small fee for an online/pdf magazine specific to Trials Bike, all the ones I have searched for on the internet are moto trials and as yet haven't found a push iron specific. I'm thinking either 1 month or every 3-4 publication. My idea so far, Inside: New products - what's hot, what's not Guides - Building, maintenance, tips tricks with riding Readers input - stories about 'Joe Bloggs' etc.... Rider Profiles - Pro riders info, rides etc... Other? - I'm open to many suggestions about more content Classified - simple free adverts for your parts (maybe a wanted section?) I think I can cobble together maybe a 'dummy' first edition using a few articles from the forums (will be asking for author permission don't worry) Was just an idea that pooped into my head granted f its stupid but just wanted to get some input. Cheers Dez'
