The metal is heated but not into a liquid state. Its soft enough to be 'bent/shaped' but hard enough to retain its shape. If you get what I mean. I think.

Its only 0.1sec quicker to 60 though. Dauers are absolute beasts!!

I had an iPod (20gb), went back after about 1/2months. Swapped it for a Sony NW-HD1 and its much better. I payed £200 for it (good old staff discount at argos), MUCH better than iPod. They are reduced at work to £150 which is a bargain but I doubt you will find one left in any store. The only problem with the NW-HD1 is that it only supports Atrac-3, songs have to be converted first so it takes a little longer to transfer tracks, but can be sent to sony for an upgrade for £15 so it supports MP3.

I have a 306 TD Sport. Had for it 15/16 months. Only things its needed is a new bushing and a brake hose (which could happen to any car). It cost £2175 though so is a 'little' over your budget. As prawn said, handles well and has very nice seats/interior. If taken to a professional diesel tuners can get about 120bhp out of them.

You cant get a speeding ticket facing a camera. Its an invasion of privacy or something. There is one down the road from me that i have been 'flashed' by a few times (facing camera) and i still havent had anything through the post.

They don't mind the turbo word too much when its next to diesel. I have had a 306 diesel turbo sport for a year or so now, just about to re-new insurance but going fully comp in my own name. Looks like its going to cost about £850 (no pass plus, no no-claims bonus etc and a speeding conviction :P). Currently with directline.

I have the wanadoo broadband. Seems good for the money. Download limit is small but not effective yet so can download as much as you like. Comes with modem etc. I doub't you can do much better for the money. Alan

If you have the cash get a Gore-Tex jacket. I have a Sprayway 2-layer jacket and its damn good. 100% waterproof, highly breathable, windproof and it rolls up pretty small. Its not bike specific but does the job. I think i payed about £80 for it in a sale at Blacks.

21 isn't that bad! I'm nearly 22, still get time to ride whilst doing a degree and a part time (5 days a week) job. Early twentys isn't 'old'!!

Standard Parcels will be about £8 (takes 2-3days), first class about £14-15. I'd just put royal mail standard parcels on ebay description and charge £10. Alan

I work at Argos and there aren't any of those dv cameras left. My store (one of the larger extra stores) only had the one and that went on the first day of the sale. Haven't had any more in since then and the sale ends on Friday. Alan

Just to let you know those sony fontopia ones are now £14.99 at argos, soon to be discountinued as they are not going to be in the new catalogue.

If you select hope from the brand search thing no discs come up, just spares, pads etc. Looks like they have stopped selling them.
