Will look good around christmas time Just kidding, looks good
  11. Yuck I'll be running a bashring anyway as I don't much fancy munching my freewheel every few days :/ Frame is an '06 ZOO! Pitbull for reference
  12. When I bought spacers and washers the bolts were too long and needed to be cut down as when I pulled the lever the cylinders moved, as revolver said, either cut them down or try some washers under the heads (about 3mm worth). Should work a treat
  13. I'm gonna go for 18-14 now, Thank you (I have vertical dropouts) I always wear jeans to ride in anyway and they are never really baggy, Thanks very much
  14. Hi guys I'm currently running an Echo SL freewheel on the rear of my bike and Middleburns up front (22-18) but i find this gearing too easy to pedal and I don't feel I can get as much power down as if it was a little harder. I know the right set-up for 18t on the rear is 23-18 but I don't want to go bigger than the current 'Burns bashring. My question is would 18-15 gearing be noticeably harder? I can do this quite cheaply as I already have a freewheel and a screw on rear hub, and the switch would save me around 94g. I'm quite favouring the idea provided the ratio will be enough of a difference. My only apprehension is the trouser munching factor. Feedback greatly appreciated, Thanks, Alex
  15. Some nut pedalling their ass off and getting nowhere?
  16. They seem to be getting a little more aware of trials recently, probably as there are quite a few of us in the area Of course you still get the odd 'Someone's nicked yer seat!' Nice
  17. Indeed To be fair, I hopped onto a wall (shitty limestone) today, fairly smooth, and it chipped the wall. I guess they just don't make them like they used to
  18. Hi all, I was riding in a local park today (Rosehill to any locals), and I was approached by a few people from the council, so naturally I expected it to be an 'Oi, get on yer bike!' But no. They were very positive about trials saying that we trials riders are a great example (wearing helmets, doing something constructive which also keeps us fit and off the Xbox) and asked if I would speak to a few of the lads on the skate park about wearing helmets, and asked for our suggestions as they will be speaking to the Mayor next week. Seems these people were actually taking our suggestions and interests seriously (a lot of people suggested making the skate park a little bigger as it opened a few months ago but instantly took off and for it's tiny size it gets packed almost all day, every day). Nice to get some positive feedback from local officials for a change with regards to trials instead of the 'get off that wall, go and do that somewhere else' that you usually get What good public remarks have you guys had recently?
  19. Guessing you're talking about an '05-'10 lever there?
  20. Care to enlighten us?
  21. Basically it sounds like your rim is over to the non-drive side of your hub and needs moving towards the drive side, this can be done using a spoke key to loosen the non-drive side spoke and tighten the drive side. Hope this helps
