just noticed my echo tr clamps keep making magura slip and the metal inside them as squashed down and makes the clamps sit squint and makes the pad squint against rim anyway i can solve ?

yea i just wanted an updated reply incase this was like a newly discovered problem or something

oh, i have the 05 magura just now... is it normal that if i set pads like 0.5mm away from rim and have tpa fully to minus that the lever has a loose part and then starts to move pads (the lever sort of rattles around) then to solve this i have to screw the tpa to + and then it makes one pad go out and one go in so it then catches on rim. ?

any reasons why ?

Andrew dickey painted his pure matte black and i think it looks great, i asked him how and here was his reply..I gave it a light sand, but the most important thing is that the first coat should be really light, so you can still see the original colour below, then build up with successive heavier coats about 10min apart. This will help the paint bond well and avoid runs.
