  1. I was down Manchester doing the Cytech course, stayed in Uppermill, just left on Thursday, if I'd known yous were riding sunday I'd of stayed longer.
  2. Where is this? Dovestone resevoir near Greenfield?
  3. Starting to think, new wheel, brake, and pads, because I really can't be arsed with this.
  4. Maybe leaking, never had it out in the rain. It's kept in the house in a warm room. Haven't had any punctures for months.
  5. I'll try a bleed. How are they getting contaminated? I keep all oil away from them and have never spilt any fluid on my rim/pads.
  6. Right, this is proper p*ssing me off. Brake was all good, then suddenly stopped working, so I changed from LGM's to Bealeys, these worked for a bit, then was suddenly terrible, so I changed to Rockpads, all good, then suddenly, stopped working.. finally changed to Heatsink Yellow's, all good for a while.. then again these stopped working! I have grinded my rim, changed clamps, had a booster on/off, 2 finger lever, 4 finger lever, but I can not get my brake to work. It doesn't have any bite, any hold, and is completely silent, WTF IS WRONG? Echo Pure frame Echo TR clamps Magura HS33 2005 Rockman Single Wall If that helps. Thanks Shane.

Grow up, he found something he wanted to share and must of missed the first post. Also I missed it, so thanks Ogre.
  9. Race is lighter with less adjustments and tech is heavier with more adjustments.
  10. Is the mount on the forks faced? if not try that, will let your brake set up even straighter even if it doesn't help.

  12. If you mean the pad moves in the caliper, then same, give it time to bed in and it should stop.
  13. I always use loctite retaining compound on the headset cups as you put them into the flare, to minimize movement.

  15. I felt like that, then I when I got it it was amazing, it just holds and bites so well.. no grinding.. kinda miss the noise of the brakes, but yeah it's best choice for mod imho
  16. I'll take a look, cheers!
  17. Disc is way better on mods imo.
  18. Never thought of that, not really sure how much to cut it down by, as I like having it high so I can get the weight lower on preload.
  19. Seem's to work well, never got round to cutting the steerer so just got used to it this way.
