  1. He's using a Kenda Nevegal 2.5, it's 800g and I got told it uses the same carcass as the old Try-all tyre. Meant to be pretty good.
  2. Too small Yours was fine, just the other less serious ones. haha
  3. At last a sensible reply.. Yeah I really fancy a set, but I think I'll just leave it.
  4. Got a Limey 4, feels even worse..
  5. As I said "pretty much any"
  6. I just want them to wear to work, I just seem to destroy shoes really quickly and these are meant to be pretty comfy. On their website they say they can be used for pretty much any sport.
  7. Bump, but considering this http://antranik.org/worlds-lightest-road-bike-at-2-7kg/ is a full road bike, that makes all bikes heavy haha!
  8. Quite fancy a pair of Vibram Five Finger shoe/sandal things.. haha, anyone know of any dealers in Scotland or North England that I could try some on and see how they fit and feel? These by the way.. Thanks Shane
  9. If I had to get a 24" it'd have to be dual disc, and there isn't any Echo priced ones, and this is too good of a spec to sell for nothing haha.
  10. I rode it for the first 3 years of trials, now I have both and just find mod a but funner too ride, used to go massive on the stock, so tried it out again. I'll get the K2 stem, probably swap to Try-all carbon bars so they are a bit wider than the Rock carbon bars. Thanks Shane
  11. Alright.. Got an Echo Pure 2011 custom build, basically after riding mod for a few weeks, the stock feels really heavy and unresponsive to ride. My front end is set up pretty stupid but is roughly the same height as a Try-all K2 stem and 20mm of spacers. Will be getting the K2 stem when it's in stock. But anyone got any ideas how to make it feel lighter and more flickier? It weighs about 9.2kg just now and is a solid build. Thanks Shane
  12. Please don't put grease on the back of your pads! it's the same problem the Tech Trial brake had, sand the back of the pad until it is bare metal, then as you ride it the pad will get slightly worn on the back so it does't move as much. That's what Tarty Adam told me and it worked a treat!
  13. You'll just need to re-bleed it
  14. Overtightened. I've had many frames which have snapped/cracked in < 6 months, my Pure is almost 2 years old and hasn't showed any signs of giving up. My Lite is also 5 months old and has no signs of cracks/snaps.
  15. I am a cycle mechanic, what I mean by "treating it as your own" as in, taking care of it, making sure it works, for example, if you wouldn't ride it with the cabling frayed then the customer probably doesn't want that either.
  16. I'm pretty sure all good bike shops treat a customers bike like there own.
  17. On my 2011 I run the TartyBikes stem 165 x 35 I think, and TT HighRise bars with 15mm of spacers, I like that.
  18. You don't even know me so I have no idea how you can say that? I thought "fishing for likes" was only on FaceBook, obviously mistaken. Your probably like 12 anyway, I gave my opinion on the bike, you are obviously so far up Brad's as you have to stick up for him..
