  1. You obviously haven't used one then..
  2. Try-All tyre would save a lot of weight..
  3. I use double butted spokes on all my wheels, 2.0/1.8 and never had any problems, always seem strong and stiff.. and generally are easy to work with. I also use Alu nipples on all my wheels, as long as you don't bash a spoke with some force off an object they are fine. I am a qualified wheelbuilder in Cytech 2 btw
  4. Just ride the f*****g bike.. You will barely save any weight at all.
  5. Ride my bike with Hope brakes and I'm 100% sure they will change your mind.

    Pads

Cousts from Jack Meek or TrialsAddict.
  7. I reckon if he's anything like you, he will have tried to setup his bike with a hammer and screwdriver.. I've snapped/cracked many frames in less than 6 months, currently had my 2011 ECHO Pure for almost a year with no issues at all. I have had ECHO Urban forks for over 2 years with no issues, I never used a hammer and screwdriver to install any of this? See my point..
  8. http://www.sextoys.co.uk/classic-vibrators/coloured-lady-finger-vibes.asp your mum = sorted
  9. I ended up asking my boss, he's into stuff like that, at first he thought it was the song "the riddler" then we worked out it was the same little character haha.
  10. Really starting to annoy me now, to the point that I don't come on as often..
  11. Right, heard a song on the TV ages ago, and the video was a little guy with a sort of crocodile head walking along singing something along the lines of "bim bim bada bim bim bim bwada bum" and I can't find it anywhere.. no idea what the song was called or who it was by, so if anyone knows it, post a link up please. 12. My Coust pads were sick on a smooth rim with no tar, but I got sick of getting the tiniest amount of water on the rim and the brake not working at all.
  13. Tartybikes replaced one of my TR sprockets with another which went again pretty much straight away, they then replaced it with a Try-All sprocket which was slightly more expensive and seems to be lasting.
  14. That's no excuse at all if it endangers the customers health or life..
  15. Brad I thought you said the Halfords store you worked in has the "best mechanic team" or something along them lines.. I can see why they get such a bad name if they give advice like that. As on Tartybikes, it says a gap of 2-6mm is required. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/20_inch_stems/tartybikes_forged_20_inch/c29p11521.html look on additional information.
  16. I've had 2 Echo TR 15T sprockets go, one in less than a week, then one in about 5 minutes of putting it on..
  17. They are slightly lighter, personally I prefer the Trial Zone lever as the blade is more comfy than the Tech Trial lever. Also if you get the post mount caliper it is super easy to set up.
  18. The Hope Trial Zone brakes are awesome! Mine don't budge at all on anything, well worth the money.
  19. No, it isn't safe, at all. I personally wouldn't ride it, or let anyone ride so... I'd say no
