  1. Wow, the 2005 HS-11 looks much nicer than the new HS-33. Have they been released yet? Looks very similar to the old HS-33!!

    Braunschweig Video

Doesn't look like he rides much natural, but I would still take bets he would be amazing at it. I want to see a road trip to Felsenmeer.

As if he wasn't amazing enough on the Monty, the Koxx actually seems to give him a little boost! That bunny up the neck-height wall was Benito-silly.

    Echo Cranks Help

Just undo the lockring on your broken freewheel, take it apart as much as possible. Next put the whole thing in a vice and cut what's left of the broken freewheel with a hacksaw. Be careful with the threads on the inner, but don't worry if you cut into the threads a little bit, the new freewheel will go on just fine. When you put the inner back on the cranks use loads of industrial strength locktite, and when you install the new freewheel use loads of grease. You shouldn't have this problem again.
  5. I couldn't care less if someone wanted to get a tattoo. Some of them look pretty good, but the vast majority are terrible. If I was going to get one, I wouldn't be worrying about the price.
  6. I would never consider getting a tattoo, I hate them all actually, but Andrew's side tattoo is bloody impressive if you ask me :) . It seems to me that british guys/girls get the worst tattoos. Chinese letters and Barbwire armbands :P . I've seen some pretty bad ones. Biketrials tattoos just seem like a bad idea to me. Same with the harcore tribal stuff.
  7. Custom machined lever to displace two cylinders seems like a brilliant idea, although it sounds expensive to produce just a few of them. Maybe you could get government funding to produce the lever? There is a guy on the OTN forum who also can only brake with one hand. His name is "Coppell Stereo" I think. He uses v-brakes with a lever modified to accept two cables.

    Which One?

IPOD Nano is great. Screen doesn't scratch if you leave the clear protective film on it :turned: (it comes like this from the box). You can also get a clear plastic case (and even very strong CNC aluminium cases for it), making it strong enough, even for riding. :) The color screen is really nice. Believe me, I hate Apple, especially IPOD, but the Nano is a great deal. The 4 gig of flash memory makes it more than worth it. The thing is tiny, i love it. It fits in the front pocket of my shirt. I can now comfortably listen to music while walking, biking and snowboarding, and wtv, so I am happy. I hate the white earphones though. My only complaint.

    Worlds Vid

Benito stopped because about 5 guys were yelling at him... not because of cameras but because Kenny was still in the section.
  10. Yeah, it's assembled right, and two other people I know have the exact same problem. It was like that when I got it new. Maybe it's just a bad batch though. They were all ordered from the same vendor at around the same time. I'm going to replace it. Thanks for the info.
  11. The thing I hate about the ENO, is once you put the lockring back on, if you tighten it more than finger tight, the whole thing seizes up. It's not like the ACS where you can just lock it down and never worry about it. I understand the thing about red locktighting the lockring, but the fact that it's not done up tight after is a bit unsettling. I modified my WI so that I can tighten the lockring down as much as I can. I don't want to recommend what I did, since it involves removing a few bits from the freewheel and it's a bit of a bodge, but mine spins very freely now and doesn't skip at all. If anyone has a good solution to this problem, please let me know. I know a few pro riders have been using the WI for a while now and it would be nice to know what they are doing to modify their WI freewheels.
  12. Anything Shimano, Deore or above. Avid levers feel horrible in my opinion. I prefer the Shimano LX lever, it has more power than an XTR, and you can get a used set for about £5.
  13. From what I've heard, the built-in chain tensioners slip under torque. It's not really built for trials.

  17. I had the same problem. Most trainers look like garbage, and proper "dress shoes" just look stupid, so I just picked up some of these. They are made by Energie I think. Prada makes some cool shoes too, but I looked at the price and went :turned:. I hate cloths shopping.

    New Video

Wow! The vid is excellent. Great job :turned:
  19. When they catch you for breaking this rule, don't bring attention to yourself by arguing with them. I had the same problem, and this his how I dealt with it. Just say, "Yes sir, from now on I will keep my bike in the rack, no problem sir." Then just keep your bike in your room and don't let them catch you bringing it in and out. If they catch you again, just repeat. Sorted but...looks like it might be too late as you've already alerted too many people. Try to let it blow over. If you argue with them, they will get pissed off and watch out for you more. Besides, it's a mod, you could hide it in your book bag.
  20. link any print shop with a vinyl cutter can make them.
  21. I have used the Brisa Pro fork with the steel steerer for over a year now. The fork is really nice, no complaints.

    Knee Injury

I had a repetitive strain injury in my right knee from too much snowboarding, similar to what you describe. Those types of injuries usually amount to soft tissue injuries (typically strained ligaments). Nothing much you can do about it. You doctor will probably tell you that if it hurts, don't do it. It will heal over time. Mine took about 2 years to heal completely.
  23. I actually met that guy once. I can assure you that is it 100% real. When he is done with one of his works, he takes apart the etch-a-sketch and removes all of the sand from the back to make it permanent. The drawings are amazing to see in person. The level of detail is phenomenal.
  24. Yeah, that probably should have counted as a dab, but realistically, that was the stupidest section ever created. He deserved a bit of a break on that one.
