God, I kno how you feel ben. Used to get this problem every time I did a tap. If you keep at it, your technique will get better and better. Cant remember the last time i twatted my thigh against my bars, but it used to render, caused bruises & crap... ouchies. If you're going for a big tap, and you hit the wall high (depending what technique you use) and dont succeed in doin the tap, the bars come flyin back at your leg (pain). If you'd have hit it lower, you'd have got up the b*****d wall and not hit ypour thigh. That what happened with me anyway lol. Its all down to how you hit the wall imo and how quickly u react wen u tap. Wen i bruised my thighs, it slowed me down lol. Give it a week or so, and you'll be able to tap and thud you thigh without it hurting like hell, unless you keep on hittin that same spot :/ Ill shut up now cos am waffling. Rossi.
