    Dundee Ride

Here's a few clips I put together of a few of us on a Dundee ride. The riding is nothing special and I'm not the best at editing.. Some constructive criticism would be nice
  2. I'm assuming it's a halfring then? Something like the Trialtech halfring? If so, you'll need to loosen off your freewheel and turn the bashring the opposite direction. Hope that helps.
  3. As said, maxxis high roller 2.35 super tacky are a good choice for the rear. If you have poor frame clearance they are ideal.
  4. That's nice. Looks good raw. Cool to see it built up.
  5. I'll show you the spots mate Don't think there's too many people on here that will have ridden there!
  6. No such website according to my browser.

    Matty Turner

Wee nutter. One to look out for in the future...
  8. Myself and a few other lads are hoping to ride Dundee this Saturday. I know not many people are from around there, but it would be great if anyone fancied coming along.
  9. Damn, that must have hurt. Well played, for getting back up and doing it again!
  10. Must be something very wrong. To be able to sell high spec full builds for under 400 pounds kind of hints at it.
  11. Your brake performance won't be very good with those pads. Get some better ones, such as Heatsink Yellows or TNN LGM's and you will have a much nicer brake! Oh yeah, grind your rim as well. Makes a world of a difference.
  12. Yeah man, I did. Was going to message you and let you know but it completely slipped my mind.
  13. Here's my new bike I have been working on for the past few months. It was meant to be a bit of a budget build, but I have ended up with lots of nice parts. There are still a few changes to be made. Big thanks to everyone who sold me their parts! This is my first stock and I'll try and get a little video done in the next few weeks. Sorry about the poor quality photo. There will be several better ones uploaded tomorrow.
  14. If he decides he doesn't want to ride trials, he can sell his bike for close to the price he got it for (if second hand). Having a nice bike like that to start out on will probably encourage you, so personally, I think it's a good choice!
  15. Easy as that? Good to know. Should I have a gap between the olive and the end of the hose?
  16. Hello. I'm getting rid of my braided hose and Buying a plastic hose with two shroud nuts and two olives. I've fitted barbed fittings to hoses before but not sure how to go about fitting the shroud nut and olive. Do I need to buy magura clamping blocks, or can you fit them by hand? Any help appreciated. Thanks.
  17. Any chance of a Glasgow ride sometime soon Ross?
  18. hey man, could you please reply to my pm.

  19. That looks really nice Ross. Have fun with it!
  20. Bleeding it again with water won't solve the problem. Take your pads off, pull your lever in and spray WD40 on the pistons.
  21. Ceramic- pros- fade at a higher temperature than resin pads better performance in wet conditions last longer Cons- louder longer break-in time not as much initial bite heat is conducted through the caliper, not the rotor Organic- Pros -Quieter -Shorter break-in period -More initial bite -Prevent heat buildup -Pushes heat back into the rotor Cons -Wear quicker -Not as good in wet/muddy conditions That was copied from pinkbike. Organic and Resin pads are the same.
