  1. The bolts will have a 4mm head but that is irrelevant to the thread size.
  2. Have you tried slackening the bolts off, pulling the lever in then tightening up again?
  3. Thanks mate, some free disc pads. Lovely.
  4. My trialtech sprung tensioner is doing me well. Set it up then forgot about it!
  5. I got a kilo of the impact whey from myprotein. Very good price, and delivery was quick. link Can't really comment on results yet, as I've only just started using it, but it seems to have brilliant reviews.
  6. Top quality video there man. Love your riding style. Maybe having a break for a while will make you want to come back twice as big I sure hope so anyway.
  7. Oops. Saw the method I suggested in a few other threads, didn't really think about it. Thanks for letting me know though, otherwise probably would have wrecked my cranks. Sorry for any confusion.
  8. For some reason all the bmx chavs here call sprockets "the crank". Constantly getting told my crank is tiny, and the other day a bmxer as me to swap my 18t "crank" for his 25t one. Nah, I'm good mate.
  9. Looks amazing mate. Spec sounds perfect too.
  10. Not too sure about the socket, but isis cranks generally come off a fair bit easier than square taper ones. Take your bolts off and ride about for a bit.
  11. Something like this perhaps? link
  12. I'm another who's recently made the change. I had about a 6 month rest from riding before i changed to stock, so I can't compare it to my mod too well. The 26" definitely feels a lot nicer to me. Feels a lot less cramped than a mod and feels more like a normal bike. Gaps, and rolling moves are all much easier. I find moves like sidehops a bit trickier though. This is just from my experience, and as mentioned above you should try out some friends bikes and see what you think.
  13. You will need a square taper crank extractor, a shimano style BB tool and a chain splitter. I'd recommend spending a bit of money getting a decent chain tool as the cheaps one never last.
  14. That was really cool. Warehouse looks great, and it's nice seeing how you guys operate.
  15. Going to the gym quite regularly now. Around four times a week, but I really don't think I get enough protein. Need some advice on what to buy. There's this on ebay which is nice and cheap. But are there any disadvantages of it's cheapness? Would this from Myprotein be a better option? Cheers.
  16. Just grind your rim with the tyre on. That way you're not going to get any gunk from the tyre on the rim. I usually don't even bother taking my rear wheel off.
  17. New forks, stem and bars is the best place to start. The onza ones are heavy..
  18. I think you're thinking about it the wrong way. Instead of thinking about pedal kicking, focus more on bringing your body and bike down to preload then throwing your weight upwards and across the object. Once you can master this you'll have forgotten about using your pedals and it'll just come naturally.
  19. These possibly what you're after? ebay
  20. Perhaps my booster wasn't the best. It was an Echo SL. But when I changed to 4 bolt, my brake's hold was dramatically better. The bite also seemed to be pretty good.
  21. Really?! Mine was incredibly flexy. 2 bolt booster didn't quite cut it for me.
  22. There's Highland Bicycles in Inverness but that's about it.

Thanks Dan! Yeah, i get what you mean. He does a sort of preload hop before he kicks. I actually find it quite good too
