Ye i've done 2 years national diploma 3d design, just finnishing my 2nd year higher nd and next year doing my B.A. (5 years ) real world here i come you can get trial versions of almost all the software... You'll often get taught autocad at college/uni but its definatly not the best program... Fir quick models/renders rhinocad or sketchup seem to be pretty good.. (no links, use google)
-
two college peices, both modelled in autocad and rendered in 3dsm. will link more pics when i've redone my portfolio.

actually the moral of the story is dont buy crap bikes and expect them to handle jumps! you get what you pay for...

polystyrene or styrafoam (sp?) are awesome model making tools... if you want a really nice finnish cover it in car bodyfiller and then spray it, thats how you make plugs for fibrelgass moulds etc! its an effort though! If you want to go down this route you have to spray the foam in two pack paint (used on exteriors of houses) as, ive forgotten the details but something in the bodyfiller will eat the foam and this works as a barrier. then sand/fill/sand/fill/sand/fill etc, filler prime x3 then paint.. you'll have an awesome (but useless) mould! the other alternative is to cad up the drawing and get the model laser cut out of foam

You can't pay more/less each month than you've stated when you signed all the contracts etc, Also, If you wish to complete early (pay it all off early) you have to pay the final balance in full and usually 2 months extra interest on top. -- edit, for that amount of money (ie, not actually much) would you not be better off borrowing it on credit card? they're likely to only want about £40 minimum payment per month so if all goes tits up you dont have to find much to pay back, But... unlike a loan you can pay off the odd £200/£300 whenever you like. You can get some very good rates for cards in the first 6 months.. might be worth a shot? I borrowed £3k for my car, Its not a nice feeling to have over your head, Sold the car in the end - made a nice proffit and paid the loan off with enough left to buy some toys!

had similar at a bowls club, they didnt like us playing on their walls, we were all like 14 so didnt care and just carried on.. Mate jumped off a wall and someone grabbed him by the neck and pulled him off then tried to strangle him... Must have looked amusing cos this old man was strangling someone while i was on his back trying to get him off, and slipping the odd punch in for good measure In the end the police turned up and, the now 30 or so 90+ year old bowlers decided that they over reacted and we all left, happily ever after have to say we got them back, 10 of us rode accorss a bowls pitch while they played a tournament game! They actually started bowling AT US, oh well, made the local paper!!! awesome

A disk might explode due to heat, I have no idea however you wont get anywhere near that heat grinding a rim... they're used to gring off welds etc on much harder steel for longer amounts of time. As for the best grind.. Its essential you use a new or very new disk, The older the disc the softer the corner gets and crapper the grind will be. Any grind disk will do.

(best NORMAL contract) tmobile flext is the best contract you could ever get, best rates easily (even if i got £90 CASH from phones 4 u and a vodafone contract) I'm on £30 a month contract and get £180 worth of credit to use however I want.

can you give some more directions to these "granite walls" for us far-away'ers that have no idea where we're going. Could be interested... Best not f**king rain...

started off pretty awful, all huddled under the bridge riding a tiny wall (far too many people for that space) then it stopped raining and started to dry up, got about 5 hours of dryness - At one point (just after the silence) the sun was fully out and it was actually HOT. After as i said, about 5 hours it started to rain again and Im guessing everyone went their seperate ways. Was awesome to meet new people and much respect to nick mannings and the other guy who landed the 180... Nicky G and Sam wheeler pulling off some awesome stuff on the bridge, Great ride. braindamage is just luck of the draw, (well not luck ) but you could get it from something really small or not get it from something massive. Clearly he is trying stuff thats far beyond him and thats what went wrong there. thats cool, in the majority of them.... get a grind!

bit of a dumb question as its all personal preference and so much about how a bike rides is changed by different componants... IMO its a python hands down. still went back to 26 after about 4 weeks though my old ^
-
Dont grind it with citris pads, you'll only get 1 ride out of them... Mate round here has them on a non ground rim, we were all really impressed, 3 bikes and 3 sets of pads later (on grinds) theyre all dead after 1 ride edit: the guy above... what the f**k are you on? 2 weeks for a rim?!?! Loose some weight... Ive never had a rim last less than 8 months for me.. with about 4 grinds as well... Koxx/onza/megamo/alexdx32 (most sold/stolen not replaced)
