  2. I agree with that comment... ^ Learning much be considerably easier now-a-days!
  3. it does seam to load very slowly.. I'm guessing thats your host so maybe address that. A lot of people wont bother waiting and you'll get a bad first impression, and we all know the importance of a good first impression - especially in business.
  4. I actually think theyre better than a lot of other trials/bike websites around - the products really are speaking for themselves and it wouldnt take a lot to get that site looking good... infact just a slight change of layout and font would do it.

I do see what your saying Tomm, I think if you look hard enough you can find conspiracys in everything... I actually found that part one of that movie was the most interesting, To be honist i really dont understand religion or why people are so convinced of it - there are so many impossibilities, the easiest to denote would be one mans heaven is another mans hell.. To most of us the idea of heaven would probably involves some trials, So what happens when we start riding the walls of someone who doesnt approve of it?? Suddenly its not so great! I believe religion made a lot more sense when things couldnt be explained and it was just a lot easier to say a higher power ie god did it, but there is so much scientific fact that disproves everything the bible has to say, also with part one of the video, its almost as if an astronama was trying to explain the movement of the stars to someone a little less intelligant and had to adopt a human form to explain their movements, Chinese whispers etc etc and suddenly its gone from start to humans and people still believeing it thosands of years on. Sadly I realised long ago this world is full of gullable niave people and always will be.

Video 2 is a shorter, much less detailed explanation of what happened (or could have) on 9/11 and even uses parts from the other 9/11 conspiries, In this video its not supposed to justify every claim made its just there to tie up videos 1 and 3.. If you want all the answers to your questions you need to watch the full length 9/11 conspiricy video and EVERY SINGLE question you could ask is backed up with fact.
  7. Yeh but its a dumb question to ask, go into a shop, look at them and buy the ones that feel good.. its all personal preference. I hate the shitty foam ones everyone wanks over, All you'll get from this thread is a load of opinions which have no relevance to what he wants to know. Thus, in this case... a grip is a grip. whatever you get you'll get used to so it doesnt matter...

it makes sense, thats how our tax system works and if it didnt, nearly every Uk retailer would go bust from people just buying abroad. Sucks but then again, you knew the risk when you ordered it all. not such a bargain now though is it. edit: what would your appeal be anyway "I dont want to pay it, if i wanted to pay that much I would have bought it in the UK anyway" mmm yeh, that'll go down well.
  15. breaking even is never going to be a sucessful business though is it, do you think a "corsa" for example costs anywhere near what it goes on sale for? (dont start using bugatti as an example, thats an extreme case) but then again, Money is a bi-product of success so draw your own margin. Key is to do a lot of research, there are plenty of up-and-coming design/coders out there looking for work to fill portfolio's with. Find one of them and you're doing ok.

    07 Teaser

    you sure about that?
  17. someone got pwnd by ashton, har har! hes probably just anoyed cos it was him asking how to tap :x
  18. I rode with pace rc250 or whatever the carbon fibre/magnesium xc forks are, the problem is theyre desingned to replace a single crown suspension fork - so theyre actually pretty tall. Theyre also really, really, really flexy.. which is horrible when tapping. Not to mention i cracked the disk mount within 2 months. edit: you can see how long they are below.
  19. I would offer my services but as I usually work with simon it would seam I can't and I couldnt definatly find someone to do the code side of things. Either way you have a lot of suggestions there so try someone there, Make sure you've seen a decent body of previous work and that they work in or are capable of the style of design you are looking for. I cant help on the code side of things but there are hundreds of designers capable of creating extremely good websites taylored for your needs. however, As with anything - the more experienced and acredited the designer or design firm are the more expensive it would be. If you went through a reputable desing firm (Im not talking top end here, just highstreet) expect to be paying somewhere between 2 and 4k for all the work and consultations, Its also common to pay a deposit before anything is even started (hence make sure you've seen previous work, spoken to previous clients etc etc) best of luck, Any questions feel free to give me a shout.
  20. Works both ways, You dont like the law, you dont have to go "into the f**cking pub" yourself. Everyone kicked off like this when it was banned on airoplanes, trains etc but you learn to accept it, I work in a bar, have done for 3 years and dont smoke. All my friends do and i have in the past, it doesnt bother me. End of the day your comment on the government, the amount of money they get from taxes on cigarettes it doesnt make sense theyre doing it for themselves. Also, As for being the frist - we are not, we are decades behind countries like singapore. As for the "fat blokes" comments, they did indeed sound a bit, well i'll say it.. retarded. Hes probably just a simpleton trying to show off. Not sure of his purpose but then again hes probably not sure either.
  21. hmmm... A level isnt the best course type for something like product design, Too much is based on the writing side of things which when it comes down to it, isnt that important in the real world. hands on experiences and learnings will benefit you much better (for example instead of looking for someone else' findngs about levers... Get an old one and grind/cut it in half to see for yourself...)
  22. to be honist, ona 406 I cant see it mattering much.. there are still hundreds around owned by people who dont care or dont know about turbos and theyre still going strong.

Watched 1/3 videos so far and im defiantly watching the other 2... its all very well to say the bible is a load of bollocks... but to explain everything and have all the research in place is a different matter. I suppose these videos (such as the 9/11 ones) are only really circulating and sucessing because of the net.
  24. I had that problem with a similar tensioner, Get a longer bolt and some washers... job done.. the better job would have been not to go near DMR with a barge pole and to have got a gusset one (although that still needs spacing)
