I dont understand why everyone loves the newer civic type R, the ek9 is so much nicer and its faster. the new type R isnt even very quick, I know a few people that have bought them and been v disapointed. I'd take the ek9 anyday..

hmmm gti-r's are known to be one of the BEST launchers ever made :/ they are seriously under-rated cars and considered a very high benchmark for most competitors... they just dont look all that and suffer from a top mount intercooler (silly nissan) and shit brakes, same as almera gti which is disapointing at best.

I was going to do that but spoke to setyres MOT guy (who was slightly retarded and told me to bring the car down after explaining 3 times I couldnt as its not registered/taxed/mot'd/insured etc) but then told me they only check that the tyres on the same axel are the same and that theyre in good condition. Speed rating is not checked (still unsure why he told me to bring it down if thats the case) Also spoke to someone "in the know" and he said the same thing, So no need to swap wheels over.

Right, Got to MOT an import and Im not sure about the tyres, Theyre in perfect condition but as theyre JAP I've heard the speed rating might not be enough or something? I havent managed to find any info about this in any mot web pages etc but was hoping for a definate answer.
