  1. thats cool bud, i'll email you on the 1st then if thats all right then.

  2. Yeah I agree its holding me back also, only been at it properly for 3.5month but really trying to pile it in. Maybe am just getting ahead of myself. Would like to watch someone good in person so I could try pick up some tips. Don't understand how some riders are pumping out 60inch, just mad.
  3. thanks dude thats good advice!! i'll def need to work on the exploding side of things!! will put this in action through the week.
  4. cool i'll try that jumping up first. Am landing on both wheels at 40 inch but as soon as i go over that i start to use front end which does my head in!!! cheers bud
  5. Help needed, near pulling my hair out! 38inch noproblem straight to back wheel, 7pallets side hop is ok. So thought I'd try 43-44 inch wall. Problem is I always try to use the front to lift the back up when I get to this hight, couldn't get the wall, so close but yet so far!! I want to land on both wheels at same time with out using front. I can't seem to lift my knees up high enough, I can do 40inch nicely landing on a wall but any higher I seem to lose myway. Is there any techniques on the preload side of things. Thanks in advance. Gary
  6. yeah sure , the bars won't be sent till payment is received though. paypal please, also can you private mail me instead of commenting on profile. cheers dude.

  7. right i stripped it down today and gave it a gt85 wash down to clean the grease out, everything seemed sound, pawls, springs etc. put it back to geather then popped the seals off and used a hi quality motal chain lube (oil) not wax to lube it all up. sounds a hundred times better and feels better. will be out allday tomorrow so will see how it goes. fingers crossed.
  8. Alright dude, 35posted there mint and only 4wks old. Thats a good deal. ;-)

    Cheers pal

  9. Yip just what he said. It's just a case of using a quality thin lube, the grease is possibley to think and causing it to skip. I'm going to keep using it for awile as I do think it will bed in and stop skipping after I use it for afew more rides with thin lube.
  10. Think I'll take the seals off and try and clean out the grease, put in a nice thin lube and see how it goes. Used it for another 2hours tonight but still skipping even when going along the road.
  11. I was fair easy on it tonight, does miss even when light riding though but thats to be expected as it needs bedded in. How easy is it do take apart?? get the sealed bearing out??
  12. Been using the rubber queen for afew rides, getting bigger gaps and side hops, grip is ok but i do find i have to fight like hell to stop it going out of control, the bounce is quite bad on rocks etc. back to the der kaiser!!!!
  13. got myself one of these, just in from afew hours riding. seems good, nice noise, pretty solid feel but it did skip afew times, due to the 144 clicks you can't really feel it but you sure can hear it. will use it and see how it go's.
  14. for transport theres the city link buses or trains to fort william etc. you would have to look into it bud.
  15. cool, well if ross macD, brodie etc that would be good.
  16. Try get the inverness boys down. I will txt afew boys and get it up on face book.
  17. Yeah agreed, its not a bad tyre but as said above its not in the same class as the Der kaiser.
  18. Got myself this tyre to try out, did around 2:5 street riding tonight plus little play on rocks. It's actually quite a good tyre if your fairly smooth rider, the liteness helps on side hops etc, grips well and gives good bounce for gaps. Down side is its quite unstable on rocks due to the soft flexi side walls but yet it does grip. Good street tyre for lite riders but Der kaiser wins hands down for the natty terrain for its sheer grip, and stability.
  19. Yeah the beer is still on if anyone gets up the step, 1000% sure no one will get near it lol, if I get some trusty minders I'll give it ago on gasser, should fly up it if conditions are right. Yeah sure take your bike kev, plenty for you to do!!
  20. don't understand why it would do it then really, its a 0.2 and 0.3, shim i think. sayng that my freewheel is only 2month old and went faulty but all fixed now. bearing cage in the correct way.
  21. sounds spot on, do you still have the correct shims in on top of the pawls and springs to make sure there kept in place when lock ring is tightend??
