Nice one johny!! should be a good weekend, plan to take the gasser down for a wee play aswell.
-
My one gave a big bang last week, was a damaged spring and pawl, replaced all pawls + springs, full clean and lube and its perfect. How tight do you have your chain?
-
what dates that ride on??
-
You have a good practise ground there!! I've been there in 09 and 2010 for british trials championship. some awesome stuff there, pretty sure i'll be back this year aswell.

I had this problem with mine but waited that long for them i wasn't prepared to send them back as i need new brakes. The grub screws leaks like your so i got the grub swrews out of my hs33s -problem solved!! think there great and the feel is really good. The point on the grub screws are far to much on the echo ones. pretty pants to be honest but hopefully they sorts this if not order 2 magura screws and that will sort it.

-
Ross are you planning this Sunday? What's weather like, if its ok I'll make s big effort to get down with my mate, could do learning some street as I don't have any here lol.
-
Hi guys, well heres the wheel all built up with a perfect echo sl hub!! sprocket fits a treat, really tight fit the way it should be. now to go fit it and use it!!
-
Your right there bud but i must say its all sorted now and i have the new sl hub, its perfect and the sprocket fits a treat. find tartys great to deal with! i wouldn't class the wheel a bad build as it was done at tarty when i bought the whole bike and its been perfect with out anyprobs till tonight.
-
I didn't build the wheel so it's no my problem, If it gets sorted i'll get new spokes and build it crossed laced then i really don't see why there should ever be a problem after that.
-
yeah i have de-laced the wheel and packed the hub ready to send back to tartys. as stated its fairly new so think a warrenty claim is in order . I feel a pain sending it back but there should be a warrenty still on the hub as it not down to stupid riding or maintainence as i look after my bikes pretty highly. Must say i near died when it went, had two other mates beside me and yip they also bricked it lol.

After enjoying 2.5hours riding it was soon over after i sh*^t myself when a hugh bang came from the front wheel area wile doing a trackstand!!! It was loud and sounded serious, at first i thought it was the ti bolts on the hs33clamps as i have had a few fail when doing gap to fronts, i checked them and all was good, couldn't see in the dark so i just thought i'll cycle back to van then i realised the bike wouldn't move, closer look with the phone lite and there was the problem, the flange had serious failure and the wheel looked like it had been in a train crash!!!! buckled was a understatment. The wheel was a radial build which i'm now thinking is not such a good idea due to the sheer verticle forceput on the hub flange from the spokes, where as a cross lace pulls in 2ways which will spread the force on the hub. anyone else had this happing? Also it was -3 so would this of had something to do with the failure?? Lucky i have a spare wheel so i can still get out tis weekend.

They look the part!!
-
Yeah i'm sure it would of been perfect but adam did email echo with pictures and the reply from echo was that its not correct and there is a fault. so whats gone wrong then??? Its been sorted noprob, even if it is ok it gives me piece of mind and makes me more confident just knowing the sprocket fits snug. exactly so there must be a faulty batch.
-
update on echo sl hub. Phoned up tarty bikes this morning and all is well, sure it was adam i was talking too, problem solved so theres a nice shiney new hub on its way to me with no machine faults all checked by the man himself. was very helpful so thanks again. I've now de-laced the wheel and the faulty hub is packed up ready for sending back. While i was at it i used my christmas vouchers and bit the bullet, with some advice from adam i've got the rockman carbon bars on the way with echo tr 2011 pedals and 2x white try-all grips. once i have the new hub i will post some pictures of the hub splines plus with the sprocket fitted.
-
my heads pickled really not sure what ones to get, if any!! born or rockcarbon bars.
-
Yeah i quite believe thay are oem. i did notice there made by neon. I tried the rockcarbon bars the other day on a mates bike and felt really good.
-
just before i go ahead a buy these are there any more reviews on these bars, what do you think?? waist of money or not?? using the trialtech sport risers and i love them, reason for carbon bars is for liteness and to pimp it up a little.
-
that was taking it a bit far lol. a nice groove/channle would of been fine
-
fair do's son was just trying to help!!
-
if you have a urban bash ring then it won't fit trialtech cranks properly unless theres a channel taking out of it. It will work with out but if you look the ring will be all over the placewhen the cracks are spining, if the end of the crank arm is facing the ground you'll notice theres loads of space then face the crank up and its a different story!!
-
Yep the sportriser have a 88mm rise with 10%sweep up and 10% back. Really nice bars, as said 35 plus p&p. Will save you money aswell.
