  1. I like two strokes cos im a product of late 80's and early 90's when they were all the rage, grew up with my old man having them. 4 strokes just don't do it got me
  2. totally agree matey. I used to race one, and they handle great. get an arrow pipe on, jet it up a bit, and get some sticky tires. knee down at every roundabout and massive corner speeds one for all you two stroke boys, my tz being race started in the street
  3. you have more fun with something like an old rd350 power valve, or a tzr250. taught me more about smooth fast riding than any other bike. then again mine was a tz, not a tzr. hand built race bike, 86 bhp and 106 kgs. but that's a race bike, if you want summat fun on the road, then get a power valve. pick one up cheap, budget for a topend rebuild, and some nikons. my old fella still has his, and it's still the best bike we've ever had, and the one I've had the most fun on. hill climbs at scarborough are a right laugh on it
  4. one suspects it will be tall, heavy, and handles like a pile of shite. you would be better off with an aprilia rs125
  5. it's on facebook. my laptop is bust. I'll send you it
  6. change of plan. thanks to the overwhelming generosity of someone, I'll see you pukes in the afternoon 2mora. johnny Vegas is gonna be at radfest all weekend !!!
  7. in all fairness it did ride really well, I just wanted a 4 bolt mount on the back for my hs33, and this inspired I got now was only 60 quid for the frame. sold the edd tongue to this lad for 50, do its cost me tenner really. it never felt like it was gonna crack on me, but then I am a fairly gentle rider, don't do big hits or heavy landings
  8. I know. it wasn't a dig at you, just a dig in general. blame old age, tiredness and lack of beer
  9. oooh you fickle b*****d lol. I went from this very frame to an inspired. wish I had a clit though, I'd never get bored
  10. well that's what happens when your on a budget and don't have mummy and daddy to pay for everything

    Films!?

went to watch American pie the reunion last week. haven't laughed like that in a long time. was fecking quality
  12. yeah I agree had an m575 on the back of my dmr. needed better pads though, clarkes organic like the man says. was a tad spongey, even with a perfect bleed
  13. I'll be up in the afternoon if weather stays ok. taking my lad home at half one. should get there for half 2
  14. if you are attempting dry labour, Chaffage could occur. one must be careful
  15. I did this morning after a particularly vicious curry last night. and about 10 cans of fosters
  16. that's an option I'd never take, if it's loose the threads on either the cups or shell are probably bolloxed, in which case hammering them will only bollox them some more. take the bb out and take you frame to a shop and get the threads cleaned up with a tap. then buy a new bb just to be on the safe side. that way the threads will be good and fresh. use a light dose of grease to aid entry
  17. proper bike related news, my old man just got rid of his gsxr 750 k7, which has to be just about the most savagely accelerating bike I've ever ridden, for a triumph 675 street triple r. not ridden it yet but he says it's not that much slower than the Suzuki, am having a go at the weekend. on the wet weather thing, I always liked racing in the rain, proper tz250 gp bike on metzler wets. could ride it nearly as hard in the wet as I could in the dry on inters. the wets were that good. 86bhp and 103kgs. it's a 93 tz for those in the know
  18. pound land 24" inner tubes. I run em in moto diggers with about 35 psi in and ive never pinched them. got a tenners worth in one go last year and I've got 6 left
  19. I've got one, run 18-12 gearing cos it's better for street. chain has a tiny bit of slack, but you could get away with no tensioner with a half link chain.
