you need to give us a bit of info first dude, by the way, welcome to the forum. what bike you have what type of riding do you do what type of rider you are ie rough smooth basher then we can prob give you some sound advice. for me, i run an echo team mod, with an echo tr disk brake on the front, and a magura hs33 on the back. this has aftermarket pads and a medium ish grind. at the end of the day its all down to personal preference

cant beat a good swing of the hammer
-
yeah. good plug there son. i put the nipple on the other way round, gives a bigger contact area for the hammer
-
i heard that too. nice rack as well
-
no need. use the bit mentioned above, and have approx 10-12 mm of hose poking out of the end. get an old spoke, the threaded end with a nipple attached. insert the end of the spoke into the barbed fitting, then put the whole lot into the magura hose. then give the nipple a good crack with a hammer, amd the while lot should drive in up to the hilt. repeat on other side if buliding a crossover job done dan

Pads: neon tie fighter 2012 TIme used: Approx 2 months Rim used: trialtech 19" drilled Brake used:04 Magura HS33 with standard plastic cylinder washers with standard magura clamps (vittel mineral water bleed ). echo team frame with integrated booster. What is your opinion of a working brake?:good bite, hold and feel. also loudness plays a part for me How do they compare to previous pads you have used: i`ve used rockman greens, onza citrus/limes, tnn lgms in cnc backing, heatsink red material in tnn backings. these are on a par with the heatsinks, if not better. my grind seems to be holding as well, im running a medium/light grind, and the rare occasion i got caught out in some rain, these pads still worked. overall im quite impressed, and they feel just as stiff as tnn`s, due to the metal plate bonded to the back of the pad. and for £12, if you cant afford tnn`s, these are definetly a good alternative. to quote danny monkman, "f**k me bing, yours brakes are awesome". even dan james cox reckons its pretty good Review: as above, if you cant afford tnn`s, these are more than worth getting. worlds better than the other cheap pads on the market today.

yeah totally agree with this, took me long enough to learn pedal ups, it's getting down stuff from height that scares me, when you are up on the back wheel, it seems a proper long way down

how many yanks does it take to change a lightbulb? none, cos they all think the sun shines out of their arses.

I had exactly this on mine, when I took them off, found a crack where they clamp into the stem on the right hand side. sand the paint off with wet and dry where they clamp on and check them. a bit of rubbed off paint, or a cracked useless pair of bars? leave that one up to you. know which I'd prefer
-
looks ok to me, is that all you gave for it? £77? might be a really good deal, or it could be nicked. but meh, well done
-
@tony Harrison not all of us(me) may be as naturally gifted at trials as you, and sometimes a bit of 'well done' or that looked sick' or ' I can't do that' does help a rider to progress. it's a mindset thing. to all the arrogant twats out there people respond much better to niceness rather than someone being a retard and having a dig. try being nice and using a bit of humility, cos if I didn't ride with good people, I probably wouldn't ride at all. then we would have lost another rider due to the knobbiness of the minority

only downside to being an old git, is that injuries take longer to get over now. my foot had just about freed off now after a bale yesterday
-
what disk brake are you running dude? and what pads have you got in your hs33? if you want a cheap good recommendation, get the neon 2012 tie fighter pads. just as good as heatsink yellows at a 3rd of the price. that's running a medium grind.

its back to the old 80/20 theory as my old man so eloquently puts it. 80% of it all is in your head, and 20% is your equipment. if you believe in your head that a better or different bike/frame will make you better, then do it. your riding will get better because you believe a better bike will make you improve. it's all about the physcology of it all. I know what I'm like when a bit is sub standard or broken, it does my head in and I ride shit. once I get it sorted or part with some cash, I ride loads better

loved my python, was perfect geo for me, I had try all mod forx on mine

finally learnt how to pedal kick properly, instead of booning. with a little help and guidance from dann2707. turns out I had the timing all wrong, watched a before and after video of me doing it. just need to learn how to control it properly now, I'm still a bit rough. anyone who knows me knows I've been struggling to learn this for a while

Black 4-Bolt Trialtech Forks Or Silver 4-Bolt Rockman Forks
bing replied to Canardweb's topic in Trials Chat
both Neil's sets of trialtechs are cracked round the bottom of the brake mount. and he's quite a smooth rider -
if you can get hold of some old clear nitromors, instead of the new green stuff, it's miles stronger. works so much better, I've got a right scar on my elbow from a splash back from it.

31.8 Clamp Bars For 24" - Other Than Trialtech Highrise
bing replied to JoNnY__Mc's topic in Trials Chat
+1. I loved my old trialtechs, but I'm running try all rage bars now, the high rise ones on my mod. it will only ever be either of these 2 bars for me from now on. my trial techs cracked after about 8 months use, but then the previous owner was Damon watson, so I think I did quite well out of it -
punching kittens isn't manly, it's just being a fanny. you Wendy twat. oh and man up lol
