  1. If its a Subway Ltd then it is a 25.4mm clamp, if its a standard black Subway then its 31.8mm
  2. Check this link out it will sort your problem out. http://www.sevenforu...have-stick.html
  3. I think all DJ series for up to about 2010 models take 7.5wt fork oil. Can be picked upi quite cheap. If in doubt check the Marzocchi website they have all the oil weights and cc's you should put in each leg on there but as I have said, just add a touch more if it tops out badly
  4. What year are they? Ive got a set of 2003 DJ3's that used to do that. All I did to fix the clunky top out was to add a touch more fork oil to each leg.
  5. Also in that picture you posted the top jockey wheel of the mech is too far away from the cassette which will add to the shifting problems. Try undoing the tension screw on the mech to move the jockey wheel closer to the mech. Hope this helps
  6. Yea but vice versa. Chainring is 3/32"
  7. Im looking for a normal ring that would usually sit in the middle on a 3 ring setup. I thought that a half link chain would normally fit any ring but i am hearing a weird noise from it. As though the teeth aren't engaging properly.
  8. Hi all, I have got a 24" DMR Drone jump bike and i need help with it. I have swapped out the 3pc cranks that were on it for some old Shimano Hone crankset I had lying around and I am running a half link chain on it. My question is where can I find a chainring that is 104bcd, 4 bolt, and anywhere between 32 and 36 tooth and will take a half link chain? I have looked everywhere!! Any help appreciated Thanks in advance.
  9. Yea the X-Tort was a proper team trials frame back in the early 2000's. Ive still got one of those frames!
  10. Same here. Forum will only show me certain topics.
  11. Tarty bikes is not a Halfords supplier. To be a Halfords supplier it would have to be approved by Halfords head office and that has not been done, and one individual store cannot be supplied bikes by one supplier, it has to be a company wide supplier. Sorry if I sound funny here but I am a Bikehut Manager and I am in constant contact with our head office and am quite friendly with some of the guys there. Again sorry if I sound out of place but i am just trying to give my side of things and the best advice i can. If you were to ring the Halfords Business Services they may be able to outsource certain bikes but as I have already said i very much doubt they will be able to get trials bikes. If they could get one I would be riding an Inspired.
  12. Check out cyclescheme.co.uk and as people have already said I highly doubt a retailer supplying a trials bike as it would not be used for cycling to work. Most places won't sell a child's bike as again it would not be used for cycling to work.
  13. Its got rigid carbon forks at the moment. Plus i already have a GT Aggressor thats a rigid urban rig and I want to turn it into an xc rig.
  14. Hi guys. Today i have purchased a Boardman Team Rigid MTB. This one I have a spare set of Rock Shox Reba forks that I want to fit but the carbon forks on the Boardman have a tapered steerer tube. My question is can i buy just the bottom part of a headset reducer as the top half is already 1 1/8 inch? Also if anybody has an internal headset reducer laying around they want a few quid for then that would be brilliant. Thanks in advance Ross
  15. I'll go next. When I was 18 somebody I worked with rode trials for the then Saracen M.A.D. Trials team. I saw him training and the things he could do on a bike blew my mind. he sold me an old Saracen X-Tort frame . Then I took a break from riding (long relationship) and started up again about 7 months ago and loving it! Can't get enough of it now.

    Rawing

Nitromors is the best stuff to uae. Apply it to the desired area, if your doing the whole frame work in areas of about 3 inches square at a time. Leave it for about 10 mins to bubble and the paint to soften I used a brillo pad to remove the stubborn paint aswell. Then when the wole frame is done this way, polish it to the desired affect. (autosol is the best if your polishing the frame) Hope this helps. Ross
  17. That is beautiful. Proper old school! Love it.
  18. First of all if your wheel is in wonly then try to set it up as straight as you can. Second you may need to file/face you brake mounts. This video will help you alot. It helped me. Hope this helps.
  19. As in title really, does anybody on TF have the echo frame decal as a .jpeg image? A long shot i know but i really need it. Thanks Ross
  20. Running a Hope Pro 2 mate. So I know its not that. Thanks though.
  21. Just lately I seem to spend more of my time working on my bike than actually riding it. The two problems I need help with are: 1. My rear wheel will rub the brake pads on coners. I have checked the spoke tension and it all seems to be ok and my wheel is tight. So what else could it be? 2. My Hope mono trial has a stripped thread in the IS mounting. Is a heli-coil kit the only way to go? Any help will be appreciated Ross
