I know what you mean, another reason I'm happy to go down the night before have a look for some similar section's and I might make the decision on the day to enter. How much is it to enter by the way?

Don't feel like I'll be good enough under pressure and I just want to ride stuff and have fun not compete with people..

I'm quite bored and have nothing better to do with my time today, so I though I'd create this thread. I'm absolutly full of useless information and possible 1million pound question answers! I was just wondering if you guy's had any interesting fact's to share. Could be anything or you could have a reason as to why a fact is incorrect! Try and keep it simple with your question's with clear answer's. Or just your snip-it of factual/use full information E.G 1.Did you know Blackpool gained it's name from back in medieval time's, because tributary's came down from the lake district and when it passed through Blackpool the water became black and murky. 2.Did you know bubble gum actually contains traces of rubber? 3.Did you know that the swear word F**K was created buy Henry the 8th, and it was used as a consent given by himself that a married couple can bare children. He would send out plaques to be placed in-front of the door that read "Fornication Under Consent Of King..."

What hotel chain is it for? I'll try it on my trial's bike see if you can actually get away with it?

Both great brakes! But in my opinion a V is easier to maintain.. And a slightly cheaper alternative if set up correctly!

Erm.. yeah just going to have a look... I'm not entering the comp anyway but I know not to go on it. But you know yourself there's no reason we can't take some tape with us and find similar section's to play on it is Blackpool after all

To be fair i've never ran a brand new tyre yet it's been slicked Creepy Crawler's. They are just as good in warm dry weather i think but in the wet they are not much help and your constantly having to correct so your not slipping off stuff... P.s I have a slicked Creepy Crawler if anyone wants it.. Pay postage and it's your's.

Are you guys all arriving dead early? Me and my other half are gonna nip down the night before see if anything has been set up since its on our doorstep

Have you adjusted the pads and stuff? I ran one for a short while on my trials bike had the same problem. So my best guess is the calliper is poo I was using it with an XT lever and ashima elite disc cable. So the only thing that could let it down was the calliper. On the side closest to the wheel there's a 4mm allen key hole try adjusting your pad from there? Failing that save up for a bb5 or bb7 you can pick em up on here for about £20ish

At worst it's an excuse to have a party... And i'm just glad britan gets a chance to do something for once, because we don't do anything good anymore and suck at sports as a nation so maybe we can't host them a bit better?

A friend told me about this last night and it's literally going past my flat. I'm not that interested in the Olympics but i'm not gonna get to see the torch pass my house ever again so i don't wanna miss it on that basis. The route is massive if you look at it, and is probably going to pass very close to most people on here! Have a look see if it does on here; Olympic Torch Relay Route Thought i might interest some of you. Either that or i'm a week behind again and everyone already know's LOL!

Questions On: Water Bled Magura's
Miss-Higgy replied to Crazy Drummer's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Click revolvers guide to bath bleed's in his signature box.. Very helpful And no anti freeze included -
I dunno could be not stolen the seller has put a small amount of info that a thief probably wouldn't know. Plus thieves would knick a whole bike? And the crack's are probably putting other bidders off but if you can fix it yourself then it would be a bargain! Plus my other half has a perfectly legit echo control that the top of the O and the ROL has been removed so it now say's... Well work it out if your old enough to know about such a word.

I have a £15 acoustic guitar i bought from home bargains, and it's a great little guitar! The only real problem with it is around the 12th fret it makes a horrible noise. Tried sanding some of the fret board to level it out, it helped but even with this issue. £15 for a guitar that play's great as long as you don't need the 12th. Also agree with skoze, i also have a squire strat. When tinkered with they are great! My other half set the bridge up properly and it has a fantastic action and quite a few other's agree.

I won't be competing, my other half might be. I'm only round the corner so i can grab my bike if i feel like it

You may be onto something there, will nip down and have a look tomorrow if i get chance! I do love a cheap alternative? And do you not find the hi top's clip you maggie carl?

With the sun coming back out and being able to wear leggings and short's or cut off's for riding, I'm discovering how much my pedals hurt my ankle's. I wear knee/shin guards, but they don't offer much back of the ankle protection after yesterday's ride i have quite a few scratches up my ankle from adjusting my pedals for setting off and stuff and they are quite sore. I have some hi top trainers that i have worn i think they are better protection than the lo cut's i wear but not quite enough. Plus i seem to catch the top of them on my Magura. Are 5tens that great and do they do women's version's? I spotted some monty shoes on ebay but they don't stock my size What else is out there? Is there a proper ankle protector you can buy? Have spotted ankle braces but will they over restrict my movement? Or do i have to continue wearing jean's and such that look spackky under my pad's and i get too hot in...? Lucy

Another thought, why don't people use the member organized ride's page more if ever i know people are out local to me and roughly where they would be i'd be down there. If a proper club was to prosper it would need to be UK spread. And instead of paying to go into each club you pay one subscription to visit any uk site. And all site's need to vary to give people incentive to travel because it all mount's up and keeping our bike's running well can be costly. And i don't want to have to pay to visit the same pallet's or rock's when i have blackpool moonrock's on my door step. But on the other hand at a club you could tuition, and i'm sure for alot of beginners like myself that would be helpful, i have someone tutoring me and it's helping me on leap's and bounds! Leaving the more adept rider's absolutely no reason to pay to enter a club. Figured that's a better input that my last "ride street it's free" lol

Lol ok, well that will cost the price of two hex's or a skye by the time you have the other part's to the same strength.
-
£380 is cheap! and you will not get a better bike for that money!! I dunno what else to suggest that aint too snappy Street Trials bikes aren't cheap what ever you get..

Wow that's weird i ride an onza and my other half ride's an ashton effect.. All i have to say is the Inspired will be well worth the extra cash, pick one up second hand!
