I thought i stick a thread up as he should be finished by this evening if all goes well and we can get the freewheel off my old crank's.. If not i'm really stuck... Still need jim to build the rear wheel too, and get my headset out the old frame, and it's all small job's from here on in that i can prob do myself.. Update: This is proving to be a bit of a nightmare bike build After me building the wheel myself and it not coming out so great.. I was fine till putting the last bit of tension in and an egg appeared and i got annoyed with it and it got slacked off again and left till my other half could sort it.. And he's stolen my freewheel and bash ring... After realising i needed a longer BB that is so i'm stuck again untill i get some cranks bb and a freewheel But here's what i have so far, brake's are on and working great have sprayed the lever black and that look's fine, also need to buy some black grip's... 21/05/2012 He's finished! And it's brilliant to ride!!! And i took people's advice and didn't fit those crank's. Here he is; Have tried not to over do the pink. Once again ignore the grip's i'm just using them till they die, it wont be long. Going to have black grip's pink gloves. Decided to leave the brake booster silver as the front caliper is silver. And so are both the brake levers so it just made sense to me. So final verdict people? I ride's really nice and the front end is as high as my other half's 24"

to be fair most of blackpool is great for trials, between gynn and bispham theres a fair few freeride trails you just have to lift your bike over the odd bit thats been blocked and i hope you like stair's

see i'm amidextrous with most things, I'm the youngest in my family my mom and dad are right handed and my brother and sister are left handed so i grew up using both... Jim thought i was strange for being like that and i probably am!

Nah, things do seem to take a bit more time to load sometime, i assumed it was my net but other sites are fine, my other problem is with editing post's first time it lets you edit it no problem on the second attempt it wont seem to save the amendment!

The main trails to speak of are lee quarry and cowm or however you spell it. I will ask my other half in the morning what this other place we went to a few week's back and there were some great trail's. I'm sure there's a load near lancaster. Have you had a look on www.ridden.it?

I can't help but agree with you dan you do make a top gimp... But me and jim will poss be gimping it with you, after today's ride i doubt i can even clear two sections without failing.. Plus we can't really afford it

Just needs a clamp to hold the bike on.. the tray is for spare bit's it's a really simple yet effective idea if you have the tool's.

Jim laughed at me when i came home with cable tie's he said give it 30min's and they will all have snapped! I thought well cable ties are cheaper than a freewheel, put them in the bag. Still have them on after a full day's ride! HA! Although i lost the rubber :/ Saying that though i have been careful and trying to not use it anymore, but its saved me from the brakeless bike
