  3. Hi guys. I'm looking for a new chain as my Zoots chain snapped on sunday, also my other bikes chain snapped (KMC K810) so i am wondering whats the best chain and toughest chain to run on a trials bike? I was looking at a Gusset Tank chain from tartybikes.com but are they any good or are they too wide? preferably a chain with a split link so its stronger than a missing link. Thanks
  4. well problem solved the chain s**t its pants the other day and snapped in half while riding normal down a road hahah
  5. Guys, Put a new sprocket on my zoot and now i have a tight spot any ideas on how i get rid of it? My chain needs to be tighter because when it does not hit the tight spot its quite slack yet when it hits it then it tightens up to the correct tension i want it :/ Cheers.
  6. Yeah i'll get you one tomorrow mate And what you guys think of a 12t rear sprocket?
  7. lmaooo i'm crap at stuff like that sorry guys a smaller one then I would not mind going with the inspired gearing or something around there
  8. i need a little bit more speed not acceleration, the acceleration is killing me its wayyyyyy to fast you come to pick up the front end you do less than a crack rotation and your knackerd i hate it the way it is at the moment :/
  9. My new zoot 2012 (special thanks to all the guys who answered my questions in the thread ''pedalling for long distances'') Zoot 2012 Echo TR discs front and rear. Because Disc hub rear - Sealed. Trial Tech front Disc hub - Sealed. Soon to come : Gusset Tank Chain. 12t Echo rear sprocket
  10. heyy guys Got my zoot today and when i looked at the tartybikes warranty sheet it says do not use this bike for ''transportation Over 1mile'' I google earthed my route to my local riding spot and its 1.63miles but i will be riding there twice a day aswell as riding about doing streety moves at high speed so i am bound to rack up the distance quick but what i want to know is will it actually wear out if tarty say so them selves? Pics will be coming tomorrow guys Vampy
  11. i do dirt jumping and street/park and i find it easy just to to come towards your ramp/take off spot and as you jump twist your body to the direction you want to do and pull a little on your handle bars towards that direction then when you want to bring it back turn your bars facing back in your direction of travel and twist your body again. (When i say body its from your ribs down over i dont know the correct word ) Hope this helps Vampy
  12. i ride about with a puncture repair kit a roll of spanners a small cheap nasty pump an adjustable some cable ties a chain tool a gerber multi tool and some insulation tape i ride around with that in my bag most of the time and its fun when you try to manual hahah Vampy
  13. yeah i went to discount uk and got my self a cheap bike pump for quid and i have a tyre pressure gauge so pumping up and finding correct pressure should not be a problem, are spare innertubes a good thing to carry around? Just like leave a spare one in my bag just incase? Thanks guys Vampy

  15. Hi guys I am getting my new build in the next few days but i wanted to ask a question or two if you guys would give the time to read them? I am wondering what would happen if i pedalled my ONZA ZOOT for a long distance my local riding spot is like 3 miles away and i don't mind the ride and i know trials bikes are not geared for this but i dont mind riding with my legs flailing about, will pedalling my ZOOT every day this distance wear anything out? Will it damage or wear out my rear hub or front free wheel? (I have came from a dirt jumping back ground and my dirt jump bike held up to the every day pedalling but i thought i should ask first before i do any damage) Thanks guys Vampy
  16. Hi guys. I don't really know where to put this so i hope its in the right place I got a bike on order but i wanted to know where i could get one of those armadillo frame protectors from? Or anything similar. Thanks Guys Vampy
  17. Middlesbrough here man! There is quite a few good spots for trials down here if your interested Vampy
  18. I use the DMR MOTO RT on my dirt jump bike that i use for dirt jumps street park and practising trials before i get a proper made trials bike and i think the MOTO's are amazing, when i get my trials bike there will be no doubt that i will be using the MOTO's Hope this helps VAMPY
  19. I will be 18 in November and will be starting trials around that time i hope
  20. Hello. My name is Alex/Vampy i am 17years old and i have been riding dirt jump for a while now and fancied a change to something like trials, i have tried street trials on my Dirt Jumper but i really would like a front brake and a smaller sprocket. When i am out with my dirt jumper i usually take my RC trucks along with me to jump off the ramps and things i do some park and street too so in all i would categorise myself as an all rounder. Thank you for your time Alex/Vampy
  21. using WD-40 might still leave surface rust it will clean the top but not remove the rust fully. I agree with Alex Dark on buying some stainless steel bolts as it would be cheaper in the long run and it gives a nice finish. Hope this helps Vampy
