  1. I'm crap at trials just keep at it everyone picks it up after a while the key for me was not to loose my rag and kick off saying i will never do it because now i'm learning and feeling quite good in myself thats just for me you might have a different way of learning just have a play on your bike dont beat your self up over a move you cannot do as i never progressed like that. Good luck
  2. my mate had one of these he quite liked it till his snapped at the chain stay, mod it up and spray it black will look stealth!
  3. Hang on were you not the lad who took someone elses pic of their bike and put it as your profile pic? yet you own a kamel? should have taken a pic of that man
  4. thinking about a der kaiser its just the price that puts me off, i only really use my 26 for urban stuff like walls steps rails and such
  5. Hey guys. I'm looking for a new rear tyre as my old one is just too heavy i was thinking about the conty Mountain King 2.4 has anyone ran these tyres? or any opinions on tyres are welcome Cheers guys!! oh yeah i must add is for a 26'' TGS bike
  6. yeah i know that but i have heard that the disc forks do not crack were the mounts would be on the 4-bolt models so it leads me to think that it has something to do with the welds them selves actually on the mounts when its been welded creating a weak point in the forks.
  7. Just a thought, but if the mounts have been welded on and he cuts them off to file them down it wont make much difference strength wise as they have been welded on before hand and the the metal its self has been heated up and made brittle. So what i'm really trying to say is will it make much difference in strength because there were already mounts there removing them will only make them look better but it should not actually effect the strength of the fork because the metal is already weak? I know in what i have just said above it pretty much repeats its self but i found it had to translate across what i am thinking
  8. yeah 14kilo possibly more haha i need to put it on a diet like myself. It could really do with a new crankset and bash ring
  9. Running a single wall try all on the front laced to a hope xc hub a double wall rear try all laced to another hope xc (about 10 year old hub!) front tyre is made of paper silly light and my rear is the tractor tyre
  10. Lmaooo the rear rim is a double wall its running a kenda kinetics 2.6 stick - e dual ply the tyre Weight is about 1205g according to the internet. So it could do with a new set of cranks a bb and a new rear tyre even a better hub, and all this shall be coming when i get paid muhahaha But to be honest it works well i know its heavy but weight is not really a problem for me at the moment.
  11. Well its a tad heavy about 14kg's and thats because of the silly heavy back tyre and rim and the DH tube in the back of it.
  12. Thats a tad harsh haha and btw dont take pics of the internet and put them as your avatar i personally would not like it if someone else used my bike picture as there's, just saying.
  13. them pics make you look like you should be doing some sort of gillette fusion advert haha awesome bike btw
  14. to be honest i used halfords middlesbrough before brad got there and i took my old mtb in the bike came back with all the brakes so loose that you could pull the leavers to the grips the gears did not change the seat was actually on backwards! and the front tyre was on the wrong way around aswell as there being lots of scratches around the seat tube area/ toptube. So i shall never take my bike there again unless i'm certain that either alan or brad works on it
  15. i had some spacers from old cranks left over from some bmx bikes and a few 3bit cranks off some dirt jump bikes i used a crank puller and added a small spacer and it fit. Running octalink cranks 22t front with a 18t rear running an onza tensioner and a kmc k810
  16. i was thinking about doing that, but it does not really effect anything too much except it looks some sort of black spaghetti The zoo only became rideable again today thanks to tartys next day service on a rear sprocket for it as the chain kept falling off, fitted my new guesett triple six and its fine
  17. Just thought i would show you guys my zoo! after it has been painted My zoot is tartybikes stickerd up and my zoo is all done up in trials addict stickers
  18. you were thrashing it about like a gooden brad and i enjoyed myself on your inspired-Echo
  19. It should be done i think, could use a t-rex to get to work on
  20. Echo urbans are light and strong or sl's
  21. i laughed when you fell off and got back on it but rang then bell
  22. Nahh mate i'm 18 actually and no i'm not up brad's arse i just like the bike and yeah you have your own opinion and you written it just like i written my opinion on you. And no i dont have to stick up for him, i just dont like people like you who offer nothing to society your only function is to down play people and people's things
  23. Aye its a good starter bike but you have to mod it a bit to get it anywere good. But i guess once you have modded it and the frame goes you just use all the parts from your old build and a new frame and by that time you have lernt a lot about street enough to warrent getting a new frame
