  1. Yo! New video again, this is by far the best one as I usually say haha! But anyhow enjoy and any constuctive criticism is welcome!
  2. Does anyone of you actually think of that he might have something in his tyres cutting holes in the tube? Like glass. This is very usual, so check that!
  3. I made my first comp this saturday, actually went really good to be me since I've never actually ridden natural at all. I finished at 9th place out of 30 peoples which have ridden all for like 3-4 years and I've been riding under 1. I rode the green route and I thought it where really fun. The thing is that you have to walk the route and really plan your riding well and don't take unnecessary risks, well thats how you SHOULD do, even though I like show off no mather what hehe;) And you need to calm down and don't feel stressed and JUST think of your riding. This is pretty natural to me:) BTW stay in the green route:)
  4. One of my mates have them on the front and rear, they are now leaking but he thinks they're awesome! They actually leak quite often...
  5. Think that your chain line is a problem with you chain jumping off the sprocket. So look at that, and if you have a freehub it's quite easy.
  6. My first comp tomorrow, going to be nice to try out my shimano saint brake that arrived today to!:DDD

  7. The bike looks sick with the new parts! Love it! Always loved the limey frames, and you have nice parts on it too, winwin! What's the weight of it?
  8. Yeah agreed in a previous post, you got skill, belive me. You just need to get more creative with mixing moves together, think that it would be cool. You can work at the editing abit more, but practise makes perfect:) Looking forward to your next video:)
  9. Don't you ride with euan and his crew? I've seen him in on of your vids.
  10. Yeah they're deffo weaker, well if you think a hundered grams here and there doesn't mather, but if you add upp all that together it's quite alot actually! I guess the feel of a hundred grams differ from person to person, When I removed my bashplate ages ago I felt a BIG difference and that's only like 200 grams. And the pro's feels huge difference, the competitions riders even more. The grams they save makes a big difference for them, even if I think it's somewhat in your mind too.
  11. But then you have to look at his muscles to, he's really strong which make the bike "lighter for him". A lighter bike is easier to throw around, that's true. Many on this forum seems to be sort of against weight saving which I clearly can't see why. When I made my bike 1 kg lighter it made a huge difference to my riding, I could go way higher and longer, and got generally smoother and I'm a beginner. It takes less power to do the moves with a lighter bike, Don't trust me? Feel free to hang on 3 kg weight on you or the bike and ride! So the conclusion is, yes it's worth to make it lighter if you can afford it.
  12. Really like both videos. These are probably the first really good edited and filmed comp videos I've actually seen. The riding where good to, which should be obvious.. This makes me even more stoked about my comp on saturday!
  13. Nah, I'm basically a TGS whore, but my riding still depends on which kind of day it is. Not like monday street, tuesday TGS, I mean when I have my good days I only do TGS, but when I have my less good days I mix some street in too. Just do what you enjoy basically:)
  14. Oh i see! Heavy duty chain! Nah but nice bike!
  15. Yeah I've heard that the echo ones are really hard, go for the monty on the rear and a small block 8 or creepy crawler on front!
  16. I run 180's now Might change the front brake to a 160mm formula r1 since i get them free. (currently have a 180mm bb7-ish copy) Yeah it would deffo shed weight and improve grip. Would mostly change bolts for the looks, the new titanium bolt on tarty looks sexyyyyy! Probably a 500-800 gram difference!
  17. That would probably save a fair ammount of weight! The things I will do: Get a smaller lighter rotor for the rear. Currently have a 180 heavy one, going for 160. Lightweight tubes. Cut of knobbles. OR get new tyres. lighter bolts. Eventually new lighter front disc hub. New BB. New back brake. Just why not? Fun to do and makes the bike easier to flick around:
  18. Yeah I did, but I didn't wan't people to put supposed to be "funny" comments which is just unnecessary. I've never said I where going to drill something? My main plan was to start with the tyres and wheels? Da hell.. And what's your big ass problem with me?
  19. Haha it was actually your bike that wanted to make me lighten my bike up more. As you've said in a previous post, if you save weight on different places sooner or later that "save" would be quite alot. And since my bike now is quite heavy the first 500 grams should be easy:)
  20. Are the last one supposed to be funny...? jesus if I wan't to light up my bike it's my decision isn't it? If I think it improve my riding, then fine it's my "problem" then wheter it does it or not.
