  1. bigger rotors are the simplest way of upping power as with all brakes the key is setting them up perfectly. the downside is they are heavier and easier to bend on stuff so they rub.
  2. hello. i have a zoot pro and run a truvative gxp2 crank and bb with plenty of clearance. have also run it with external bb saints, deores and xts. And front freewheel echos, on an isis 128mm bb. if you are not bothered about badge, external bb shimano deores are perfectly reasonable and a bargain.
  3. similar to above, bought a shimano zee brake for my trials bike. perfect.
  4. as requested. some very slight scratches but nothing deep or really nasty. given them a hillbilly tuneup (wd40 and a rag) and had a good squint round the crown and disc tab welds for cracks. steerer is about 195mm

also, peeking in pic 1 i have just got some surplus echo urbans in a joblot of parts.  disc only, black, newer model with super thick alli steerer.  will give them a scrub and checkover if interestedIMG_20151120_234423.thumb.jpg.07aa291396

im not sure what the going rate is, or how much they cost to post but thinking around 25 for the lights and 30 for the urbans. if youre worried about the strength the lights probably arent for you. they are pretty damn light.  a mate of mine has run the same urbans for two years now on his street bike and they have taken far more punishment than i can bear to watch. the older ones tended to bend/crack around the steerer joint, so i have been told, but these have something nuts like a 6mm thick steerer tube. far thicker than my trialtechs

      good work! no worries, cheers

  5. front one is plenty strong enough for front moves, usually better than the hope trial i have on the front of my stock trials bike.i run them both on lightweight aztec cutout rotors which help. the rear could maybe do with a slightly bigger rotor, as im used to a bike with a harsh grind and magura, but hasnt slipped out on me.
  6. run a pair of slightly rattly old ones on my 24 with 180 rotors and they are good enough for me to not bother with bigger rotors. i imagine the saints are more powerful but probably a whole lot more money too.
  7. buy some proper industrial paint stripper from a car bodyshop or on ebay. bit more expensive as it usually comes in 5 litres at a time but will genuinely bubble any paint off including epoxys without needing to scrub. wear gloves cos it burns and dont do it in a really small room
  8. they are re-actualizing the hydrogen filling station for boats and using that plot as the storage site. had a poke around monday, looks pretty permanent so may not get to play there any more
