  5. conti mountain king race sport or maybe one of there super sonic tires at under 500gr for the front, rubber queen on the rear. currently the set up im runnin for street and natural, i must say i feel they offer more feeling than the stickys or a baron/kaiser as the thinr sidewalls give u more feedback ,also give a little more spring as the rebound a little faster but u do need to be smooth as they dont offer much punture protection also works out at a pair of tires for under 1.3 kilo the weight of rear sticky

    Pure Vs Sl

My spelling and grammer may be crap but my riding more than makes up for it i was simply asking is it worth the extra 95 to save 70 grams

    Pure Vs Sl

Kinda what i was thinkin plus runnin a 116 hub would be lighter than a 135 and probly abit stronger too now to decide between getting the pure in 116 or the sl in 116 as the only diffrence is 70 grams

    Pure Vs Sl

Yes but u get whats called mod stock which a few companys are starting to build more of im just wondering if aside from the abvious if it would.be stiffer than a 135

    Pure Vs Sl

Right im back afer a new frame again do i go pure or sl also any benifits from going 116mm over 135 is 116 stiffer/ ligher etc

  15. After recently getting a rubberqueen 2.4 i noticed that once fitted that the tire was not true its beaded correctly all around but as soon as u spin the wheel u can see a wobble to the tyre in 2 places and i know.its not my wheel the only way i have managed to get it to spin true is puttung 70psi in it theen soon as u let it down the tread wobble is back has anyone else had simular problems

    Military Careers

The military is great if ur a selfish person, my wife is currently seving as a medic and she is currently on tour in afgan and i have to say being the one left behind is torture for all the family. Evan though the army does eveything they can to make it easyer it still does not help a great deal and causes alot of stress especially when u dont hear from them becouse something has happened to someone and there all on lockdown
  19. Has anyone ridden them scince the changes arw they still snap happy or should i get the urbans and not worry abought the weight
  20. Im up in the nort east for abit so.im fancying a leeds ride if anyone is up for it (mike winton) get ur ass out for a sesh the more the merryer normal places apply and meet just outside the station on the white ledges say around 12 ish
  21. As long as u get the correct steeretube diameter and lengh u should be set thats the most important and depending on ur syle of riding i would run no more than a 180mm fork assuming its a full sus if u only xc /a all mountain probly 140-160 mm would be more thwn sufficant

    Disc Waterbleed

Gonna try runnun a 05 maggy lever to.see if there is a mechanical advantage depending on piston ratios would a smaller master increase or lower the pressure at the slaves and vice verser for.a larger master

    Disc Waterbleed

As i stated at the start of this topic i am just experimenting with diffrent fluids to.see how the brake feel changes and i thought i could share my findings with people aand yes anti freeze is.great and maintains the same feel as water becouse of the low viscosity and yes cooking oil is thicker than blood and causes a slower lever ferl but im looking for somthing where i can have a fast and responsive lever feel with no squish that u get with most hydro brakes my next one is to go braided hose to see how much diffrence thwt makes

    Disc Waterbleed

Yes its minrel and as far as going down hills its fine aslong as u brake sections ie on off on offf on off etc not like we pick up much speed anyway lol been using it everyday scince the bleed also been over my local woods wich is quite front brake intensive ( they hold diffrent motorcycle trial events there) rode a few of the sections and yet to have any problems i may see if re bleeding it with cooking oil will give the same feel as water but have better lubrication and heat dissipation dunno but its worh a bash lol
  25. Lmao i still have this on vhs i remember buying it when it first came out back in 98 lmao cant belive i actually learned to ride from this lol im gonna have to dig it out and watch it again
