Love it. Not fully original though, bar, stem and maybe the wheels are from a later model Ben
  2. Haha. My missus barely woke up when I left! No chance of a brew! Ben
  3. I start work in 30 minutes... It's bank holiday monday, I have to work. This makes Ben sad. Ben
  4. Another fun lil bike is the yamaha SR125, quite spritely and really fun in the twisties, much better suspension than the CG's I've found. Ben
  5. its not bad, rolls nicely. Don't really do much front wheel stuff so not sure about that end of it. Ben was thinking about doing the frame a different colour, but that can wait. Next on the list is bar and stem. Pretty happy, only spend a grand total of £145 on it so far including the bike! Ben
  6. Fitted new forks, they look really good and was suprised at how much the old onza pro forks I took off weighed! Ben
  7. Haha. Cg's are ok bikes, will run to the end of the earth and back, but they are sooooo dull! I had an old 85 kawasaki kh125, was a 2 stroke and it was a brilliant bike to ride! Really nippy and pulled to an indicated 80-83mph. Insurance was stupidly cheap and you can pick one up for about 500 notes. Ben
  8. Or longer cranks make it feel lighter. Ben
  9. I've taken to filing it flat now lol. b*****d thing will come off! Ben
  10. Hi. I have a set of echo lite forks (4bolt and disc) and i only intend on using the disc mount. Is is advisable to remove the mounts (will it make the forks weaker?) and what is the best way of removing them? Ben
  11. still trying to sort sort the crown race out, but apart from that they look good Ben
  12. Weather sucks, got new forks to fit, but have nowhere dry fit them! Missus is a bit of a twat. Can't go out for a beer tonight as start work at 7am tomorrow, Might as well get an early night! Ben
  13. This may sound silly. But are you sure its an 18 not a 16? As that would make it feel quite light and a bit poo. Ben
  14. New forks arrived today, makes me happy. Shame i have to now work on my day off so can't fit them Ben
  15. oh my? do i spy some old USE forks? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/26-Custom-Trials-Bike-Tarty-Bikes-/321124748220?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item4ac486cbbc
  16. indeed, finally got a day off! Head still smarts like a bitch! Ben
  17. Had a shit day at work! Been working straight since last monday, so pretty tired. Got in this morning to open up and the till completely dies, ended up on the phone to tech support for ages dealing with the standard, is it plugged in, unplug in and plug it in again, blaah blaah blaah! Of course i've tried this before i rang because i'm not a f**king mong! They say an engineer will come out in the 3-4 hours (at 8am) with a new till, so i have to do all of the transactions on paper and can't take card = ballache! 1pm comes, still no engineer, but a courier turns up with a replacement till. had quite a busy lunch time and has been a right pain in the arse serving without a till! Finally he turns up about 2:30, sort it out, happy days! Then delivery arrives, so crack on putting that away, the fridge door is pretty stiff at work, so gave it a yank and smashed the door into my head, managing to split my head open in the process! [/rant] Ben
  18. Sorry, not my cup of tea. His style just seems a bit, heavy? Ben
  19. New back brake installed, managed to pick up an avid juicy carbon for £33 posted Ben
  20. A few updates since i got it. Polished the cranks up, put a different front tyre on and today put an Avid Juicy Carbon (picked up for £33!) on the back. Having a great time riding again! Seem to be riding alot better than i used to already! Ben
