  1. I was thinking when you said you was gettin it polished that it'll look very nice as it is... I was happy to see you stuck with the shiney silver
  2. well I'm more confident now with this integrated design thingymabobby. I was thinking years ago when i first had my experience of chain tugs that i hope they make a better design and thankfully they have aha Another quick question.... how many of you use Bash rings for 24"/26".. I see some riders on videos use them and some don't.. I was thinking of getting one but couldn't choose between full ring or half ring
  3. yeah it happened a lot when i first started, and i had those chain tugs on an Onza t pro and they snapped the first day i bought the bike haha. if I'm careful with the tensioner bolts with they be okay? or last longer? and if they do snap are they easy to replace or is that covered on warranty?
  4. Sitting on tyre preload! mentall
  5. It just worries me a bit with being over in France, like if anything breaks or doesn't work as I'd of hoped then its a pain in the arse, so I want to really get this bike over here without worrying about facing any major problems if you get me? I do want to try out these new integrated tensioners, but if I did opt for a frame that needed snail cams and if I could never set them up right it would be a pain.
  6. There are so many different types of snail cams though aren't they? Do some work better than others? I've heard that the GU's integrated tensioners are pretty decent?
  7. In my past trials experience chain tensioners and snail cams have been much of a trial and error for me, now I see a few frames e.g. GU, Echo and Onza using integrated tensioners. At the moment am looking into the. GU but it puts me off buying other decent frames that need snail cams as I know nothing about them or how to set them up or anything of the matter :/ any experiences or knowledge on using them? Cheers Alex
  8. Let's hope they speak a good bit of English otherwise you'll be ordering wrong frame haha
  9. So that's that question sorted I'm still wondering what is better to have out of double wall and single wall rear rims, cause on tarty they sell allot of good strong single wall rims but I've heard they aren't as strong as double wall but they save a hell of a lot of weight
  10. What's the difference between parallel and non parallel sidewalls and does it improve the rims strength or affect the brake or wheel setup at all? And another question about rims is the difference between single and double wall design, single rear walls are lightweight and still strong but apparently it's bad for a rear wheel as they flat spot easier, not had much experience with them, just wondering if it would be worth it or not?
  11. Martyn is also physically disabled true, but yeah Chris ruined himself off a cliff like the mad stuntman he is
  12. Shame about him now though, I heard he broke his back from my mate who use to work with him
  13. I always thought a good idea would be based on points still.. But judge it by the difficulty of the line... The harder the line the better the score? Like have 4 setup lines easy to very hard, and still do the dab point scheme but give the riders more option
  14. Well there both near enough same price bar £100 difference but I was thinking of putting the Trialtech SL Isis cranks on and the Trialtech SL stem but there both white and I thought it'd make the colour scheme abit weird but it makes the bikes go down to 8.7kg but adds £120 on to the price... I want the bikes all black except the frame cause looks cool
  15. I wanna know which bike you would go for if you were in my shoes. Out of an Echo Pure SL ( 8.9-9.3KG) or a GU 26"Orange (8.9-9.3KG)... The build is almost exact parts wise, but the Echo is considerably cheaper and lighter but I prefer the looks of the Orange GU. Here's the spec of both bikes; Forks: Echo Urban 2013 Black (disk only) Hubs: Front Echo TR Disc. Rear Echo TR Rims: Front Echo TR Black 32h. 16. So the Jitsie 7075 Aluminium one should do yeah?
  17. Any ideas on good strong long lasting bash rings for me to buy? Currently eyeing up a Jitsie 7075 half bashring... Wondering if there are better ones that are strong and light
  18. On my latest build I'll be running a 165 x 25 stem on my GU 26" and I'm 6ft3.. Here's the spec for the gu frame...Wheelbase: 1095mm Chainstay Length: 380mm BB Rise: 70mm Head Angle: 71 degrees Anyone reckon this will feel too big to ride for a lad of my height?
  19. How high were those walls straight to back wheel?? Mental video man
  20. Well I'm across the border in France, if I see it anywhere on my travels I'll give you a shout
  21. Just get a bike off here... They have some mint bikes for sale
  22. Spot on that lads at first I thought it was Addingham moor, that slip at the end haha ouch
  23. How much you wanting to spend? Am building mine through tarty bikes and the build a bike section proving really handy atm
  24. Yeah I scrapped my Ozonys curve, sold the bits and kept my hope tech trial
  25. Woo!! Yeah been on tarty and started to build two bikes with the bike builder thing... I made a topic and created a GU26" but modded a few bits and bobs (9.0-9.4kg) .. And now I made an Echo Pure 26" some slight better parts and it only weighs 8.7-9.0 kg but the GU looks so much nicer Here's the spec off the Echo pure Frame Echo Pure SL: Grey, with Silver Titanium BB Forks Echo SL 2014 26" Front Hub Echo TR Non Disc Rear Hub Echo TR Rear Front Rim Echo SL Front 26" Rear Rim Crewkerz Freed 26" Rear Spokes Sapim Race 26", Black: With Brass Nipples Front Rim Tape Trialtech Rim Tape: White, Front, 26" Rear Rim Tape Trialtech Rim Tape: White, Rear, 26" Front Inner Tube Continental Supersonic 26" Rear Inner Tube Continental Supersonic 26" Front Tyre Kenda Small Block 8 26": 26" x 2.10" Wire Bead Rear Tyre Try-All Stiky Rear 26" Front Brake Hope Trial Zone Team Edition (No Rotor): Front, Right Hand, #5 Caliper Front Brake Pads Deciding on Jitsie Pads????
