  1. I ride 'em for like about a year , but keep 'em all as trophies on my garage walls . It's adorned with various snapped / twisted Base frames , G.T's , Konas etc.
  2. In my defence , I didn't refer to christian belief as a " load of toss " , another person replying above stated that . I was merely mocking contemporary people's careless attitude to what was once the dominant institution in European society . For what it's worth , I suspect that the Christian faith helps millions worldwide to find solace in this hectic world , which I choose to escape by riding and painting and being among true friends . Apologies if I caused offence .
  3. If they seek to convert us , this implies that they consider our current activities sinful . What are we , Satanic Cyclists ? And rap , yeah " My homie Christ be reprazentin' , y'all ..." Actually , I did hear some christian Heavy Metal once believe it or not ! Ever see Reed Merschat's "Evolve" trials video ? A street preacher asks Martin Hawyes " Where will you spend eternity , in Heaven or in Hell ? To which Hawsee replies " Not too bothered really , not bothered at all ..."
  4. And this is OLDER footage ? What the hell is he capable of now ? Talk about ( relatively) unknown hero .
  5. ... dude , erm ... seek help . That was pretty absurd .
  6. Arnoldgiaco has long been one of my favourite trials clips. If released today , one could well believe it's recent footage .
  7. I expect the best stem is one whose rise and length suit your posture . Try different ones with your setup , perhaps your mates might allow you to try theirs ?
  8. Big budget high end professional cinematography ! Looking very impressive , should appeal to all riders of any discipline .
  9. Ooh , some interesting parts here . Amazing , though that Echo overlooks the importance of good site hosting , given that they are a leading brand , and have so many good products to show .
  10. Glad to hear it's been recovered , was it damaged at all ? Oh , and don't go for the whole revenge thing , we're in the right here , and we want to keep a good name for our sport . Years from now , alone and unloved in prison , the idiot will realise the errors of his ways .
  11. Popularity , like sponsorship is not just about going big . The rider needs to be representative of the sport and be a generally nice bloke ( or lady ?) No attempt to slate Craig La Scoot , but a one trick wonder won't cut it , a good allrounder , capable of riding demos , comps , both natural and street is what is needed . Besides , Sir Martyn of Ashton is a generally likeable fellow , who inspired many ( including myself ) to begin , or continue investing in our sport .

    Riddle

    Still no ideas ?
  13. In Holland , we call this species of idiot " Ordie." It's derived from ordinair , meaning common , and the stereotype includes " Jonnie" ( male ) and "Anita" ( female.) Idiots ...

    Riddle

Really very tricky ... . This is a major clue "They are red at day and black at night , " but gets me no closer . Also , by the phrasing of it , men always have it , whereas women and children can choose to . Hope to edit this soon with the correct answer when a flash of inspiration occurs . ( could take some days...)
  15. Fredrico / anyone else , if you go for that tensioner , let us know how it is after a few weeks testing , please . Seems like a well made piece , from a respected manufacturer .

    Swidnik 2005

Yikes ! Awesome video , both riding and edition . Some absolutely absurd riding going on there , get downloading , folks .
  17. Great idea , very inventive . Nice to have a spare set of XT levers lying around , too . I've been trying to comat arm pump as well , my rear braking suffers after only a few seconds on the back wheel , something like this could really help , only a trials rider would come up with something like this .
  18. Another possible convert to V-Brakes ? Good , they're largely overlooked , but can offer excellent stopping power at reasonable weight . Cable and pad choice are crucial , once set up they can feel very reliable .
  19. She's a beauty , Heatsink and as others have said this is a good choice for an affordable spinny / streety frame . Having removed the supplied bashplate , you're left with a fairly light frame that is stable on the back wheel , and feels stiff and obedient . Mine ( Only one in Holland : ) Purchased from bikedock .
  20. Perhaps locking this thread might save this guy from further embarrassing himself ?
  21. Oh boy , been waiting for more Felix Ubersmoothness for a while . I was following the thread about this video on Observed Trials , but their link was broken . Gotta love Felix's style and stealthy bike setup .

    T-F...

From the album: Stuff + Things

    Old front
  23. DMR do sell Terrorpins for their V8s and V12s , but it's a hassle removing the remains of mangled screws . Cages are the way to go , and feel better ( in my opinion ) than any platform available , as well as being lighter .
  24. I think any size disc should fit , although I don't know what forks you run . I.S fitting simply means that the caliper sits in the normal place / position , and doesn't dictate disc size . Can't help you with the HS33 question , though , other than to say good choice .
  25. A rather intimate affair involving my stem and my groin , when i came up short on a bunny'op Also the delight that is pedal / shin rippage .
