Nice side hop onto the rail and a crazy big road gap i like :)
  3. ordered some heatsink blues in the end (i know its compleatly differnt from what i was saying :P ) but they were alot cheaper and alot of people were saying good things about them. if im not impressed i will probably try plazes next ) BTW Damon seeing as you ride a adamant too do you use a booster and which onea fit as my old tryall one doesnt
  4. Care to enlighten me as to where i could purchase some ? A friend of mine had some and they were amazing :D
  5. mines bled with the good old halfords LHM citron stuff (Y) Ive managed to aqquire what i possibly and worlds only 36hole DX32 from and friends old mission reefer :D Given it i nice grind and it works a bit better (plus i actually get clearence between my maggie and cranks now rather then with the koxx rim :D )but not too good im putting this down to my old knackerd pads though. So im gunna order new ones anyone got and suggestions for this setup i was thinking along the lines of spanish flies
  6. Only pic i have of it 14" muddy fox alu sport
  7. if you turn the bash round and add washers get some longer chain ring bolts (like the ones that come with tensiles) then theres no chance of it stripping
  8. why the hell dont they make them in 36 hole (Y) Im i the only mug that brought a 36 hole rear king

sounds good would it be something to add to my cristmas list or is that too soon? (Y)
  10. :P some one else with an adamant :) Im agreed mine is sexual :S Ive improved my sidehops 6 inches and basically all other aspects of my riding by just stepping onto it :)
  11. that was :P Those sidehops are crazy :P Cant wait to see what your doing now if that is old stuff. some one please whack up some recent footage :P
  12. i like the sound of all of these rims suggested but do any of them come in 36 hole? If so where can they be purchased from? If only it was 36 hole http://www.bikedock.com/posit/shop/manfstk.php?manf=ALEX Would have been perfect (Y) ;) :)

    Gu Frames

ah well i tried to convice you :$ +50mm with a low hifi stem does feel the bomb in my opinion though :) And the bars are only 3cm higher then they were on my koxx :P
  14. lol well when i say perfect i ment ok. But it is not event that good anymore :) I may consider getting a booster as well if i can find one that will fit as at least it will also protect the cross over hose  Also i want a slightly narrower rim due to having not alot of clearence between my maggie and my cranks. and with full pads i dont think it would run. Anyway i decided on a ronnie and im still thinking on pads :P got more time now though as tartybikes are closed this week :$ :D So i may have to be inventive to get my brake working for the weekend so i can go out and ride although it may be an excuse to rest my dodgy back :)

    New Bt Video

i enjoyed that differnt to all the other vids around at the moment. nothing amazingly big but more skill on a bike then ive seen in a while :turned: (Y)
  16. Right im going to phone tarty bikes in a mo to try and order a ronnie and some koxx blues or plaz pads as these seem to be the best all round pads with a grind :P Not running a booster as the frame has a built in one and is mega stiff :)

    Gu Frames

Ive got an adament with super short stays and bb rise and i think it rides lovely :P The geo of the GU is pritty simular so it should ride simular I posted a review on mine in here http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=65604
  18. Lol thats never going to drop is it :P Anyway good luck with getting it back. Just spread the word as much as possible. shouldnt be to hard if it is that unique :)
  19. yer im afraif 521's and v brakes are out of the question as i have one of these new school frames with 4 bolt mounts etc :P :P So ronnie seems to be the rim of choice so il probably go for that. The braking surface looks nice and deep to which should make setting up the brake easier and more acurate too :) So what pads work best on a ronnie? (with a grind BTW)
  20. not too worried about strenght as i dont do many big things just as to have a good brakeing surface and be able to take a grind. As my koxx has only just started to dent after about 20 grinds
  21. Hmm ive been thinking about buying one for a while which would you recomend the basic one or one of the others. Whats the differnce?
  22. Right me rear brake has recently been rubbish to say the least  And with my lovely new frame all built up and riding lovely the brake is really letting the side down. Even sunk as low as putting tar on today but to no avail. still pooh but with more noise :P . My current setup is a koxx rim and koxx browns which used to work the bomb but now dosnt do anything. i think this is because the koxx rim is getting on for 2 years old now and after many grinds the surface is uneven to say the least :P . So its time for new pads and a new rim what is the best combo out at the moment has to be 36 hoole mind so that unfortunatly rules out the new echo rims :D Im currently thinking a ronnie as i like a grind and ive heard they hold them nicely. + if i get it from tartybikes i could get a nice grind done for a £1 according to the site :P But as for pads i have no idea ive only ridden with koxx browns and reds in my time :ermm: So advise appreciated please Gavin :P
  23. Let the bickering comence :- Although it doesnt really matter what the wheelbase of it is as long as it rides nice :)
  24. i serviced my hub this evening anyway to be on the safe side :S I did consider clamping the cog and pulling it off but i decided to cut it as i wasent reusing it anyway :P
