  1. yer I think they are the way forwards strong, cheap and with a deep braking surface so you can actually setup your brake properly
  2. I'm now facing the same dilemer after damaging my onza carbon bars. Damage don't look too bad but I'm still worried. Theres a scuff where the onza logo is. Although it doesn't look like it has gone past the laqure this going to affect them much? what did you do in the end with yours replace them? Also where the bike has been dropped numerous times the ends of the bars have a few chips and cracks in. i thought the fact that my grips had rubber ends on them would protect them. Apparently not this going to effect the strenght too?
  3. select bikes do bt bars they have both sets. Im still unsure what you mean by flat bars :erm: kind of like azonic and traditional MTB bars or the trials specific veriety with upswept ends like \_/
  4. Sounds like it was good I always regret going after every year One question why were some of you lot in hospital? Sounds like it was a laugh though which is the important thing
  5. there were posts full of praise on here last time i looked Glad the fact that they didnt do a 36 hole version stopped me from getting one. Got a DX32 off a friends old mission reefer wheel for a fiver insted
  6. A guy that i used to work with had a white zero with blue hope hubs and duel minis. was my dream bike at the time Nice to see your still out riding

    Boosters

Might be the way forwards to borrow a booster and see what its like. Il get a fully working maggie first and go from there.
  12. well if everyone makes sure they vote from as many differnt computers as they can aswell then it wont matter as much if they do prune it down to one vote for each IP address
  13. I strongly disagree with that all the ones i have had and seen come through where i used to work have died or developded play FSA ones in my opinion are a better choice as they are the same price and will last longer. I personally run a koxx bb which i've had for 2 years now with no problems and i believe that is an FSA with tryall printed on it.
  14. your vids never fail to amaze

    Boosters

I can see where you are coming from cause that is what it feels like. But even if you do up one of the bleed bolts a little and try to force in a much fluid in as possible it makes no difference As for pads I think i may give the cousts a try as they may be more expensive then the blues but not much more compared to all of the other pads out Think il go for a heatsink booster though as i like the look of them and im sure that all four bolt boosters will do basically the same job
  19. towel thats what i always forget

    Boosters

Checked all the alignment and that seems ok. it maybe a problem with the maggie as you have to run it with the tpa basically all the way on. Otherwise the lever has an area of pull where it just wobbles and doesn't move the pistons. this happens no matter how good you try to bleed it. i need to order some new pads so i may order a heatsink booster when i order some more pads. Just don't know whether to get blues again or splash out on some of the coust ones. are they worth the extra cash and what are the main differences? any one got any experience of them? cheers Gavin

    Boosters

Ive had my adamant A1 frame for a good few months now and the only gripe is the rear brake feels really spongy and horible. The frame has a built in booster but i was wondering if it was still flexing and this was what was making it feel so pooh Seems a shame though as its a really nice working brake but it has no feel so i dont trust it The setup I am using is 04 maggie normal fluid alex DX31 Heatsink blues If its nothing to do with a booster what else can i do to remove spongyness? Cheers Gavin
