  1. You have recieved a new feedback. Below are details concerning the new feedback. Type: Good Rating SummaryExcellent. Next day delivery. Cheers! Given By: Village Idiot You were the: Seller Date: 1194169568
  2. I did A level maths but not physics. Found the maths a bit harder than the other A levels I did and it seemed to need a bit more work than the others as well. Best thing to do is what some other people have said - try and read a bit ahead before the lessons - you probably won't understand it fully when you read it, and may just understand little bits, but when the teacher/lecturer's going through it you'll have a slight head start on it so it should help a bit.
  3. You'll probably need new wheel bolts as the alloy wheel bolts are often longer than the steely bolts (I had to get new bolts for my punto and I noticed you said it was a punto (I think)). Best to check what size bolts you need first though. If it is a punto, check what the PCD of the wheels is. Standard steelies on a punto are 4x98. If your alloys are 4x100 you'll need wobbly bolts for them to fit.
  4. Nice one Craig, I really liked that vid. Riding and editing were pretty sweet.
  5. You should be able to use cassette spacers (the little plastic or metal things between the cogs in a cassette) if you have any lying around instead of buying the single speed kit.
  6. Can you get an itemised/detailed bank statement that tells you where the money has come from, or tells you whether it is cash/cheque/bank transfer/...?
  7. About halfway through mine. Got to do 12,000 words for the start of May (plenty of time yet!! ) and hand in program code on top of that (BSc Computer Science). Done about half so far, but I've no idea what I'm gonna write another 6000 words on
  8. Probably depends on the examiner, I was talking to mine for a bit during the test and he seemed ok with it. In fact, I think he actually started talking to me.
  9. Supercycles should do them (they did about 2 years ago when I ordered one for a T Raptor). I can't remember whether they were on the website, if not ring them up.
  10. 1. a/c) - Would want to see a variety of things in a mag. 2. a) - only about 2-3 a year though 3. a) 4. a) 5. b 6. a/b) - pump/grips (useful things) might tempt me, but dustcaps wouldn't 7. a/b) - if it seemed a really good mag with lots of content then a), if it was similar to a lot of mags out there already then b
  11. Do you work? Cos if you don't I doubt you'll earn enough interest off 10k to pay tax, so you'd be better off putting it in the highest rate account you can find. If you do work/pay tax, stick 3k in an isa (assuming you haven't opened one this tax year), and the other 7k in a high interest account.
  12. Is this actually a proper bike (like designed to take a 20" rear wheel and 26" front) or just a mod with a 26" wheel and forks?
  13. There's a thingy on the UCAS website UCAS Calculator where you put in the number of A levels/GNVQs etc you got at each grade and it works it out. If it don't work, search for a UCAS points calculator on google, there's bound to be something there.
  14. Would work to an extent. However, I think with 56k internet you're allocated a different IP each time you log on (correct me if I'm wrong someone).
  15. Possibly, but the thing is they could just sign up again with a different user name and come back if they get de-validated. There'd need to be a way of stopping this if this was going to happen.
  16. Maybe try taking the chain off the rear cogs (or take the wheel out) so spinning the wheel won't cause the freewheel/hub to go round, then spin the cranks round. If the noise is still there it's likely to be your BB, otherwise I'd reckon it's the hub.
  17. Try VLC media player. It seems to play a lot of stuff that Windows Media player has trouble with, although I think it might still have been skipping a freezing with Zoo Vid 33 (can't remember though). Edit: Felix beat me to it!
  18. 1998 R is a Mk4 I think. Try some of the classified papers (ad-mag, ad-trader etc) - they've usually got a section "Cars - parts & breaking". If anyone happens to be breaking a Mk4? Polo, ring them and see if they'll split the bumper for you.
  19. Left footed on a bike. But I'm right handed and right footed when I'm playing football.
  20. Thing is, we're paying the same proportion of tax to use the walls/rails etc as someone who's just wanting to use them to sit down on them. By using a bike on them, it's going to wear them out quicker/possibly even break them, so in effect the government should probably charge street riders more tax than the general public. Mind you, I still like riding street though
  21. The crank isn't hitting anything when you're pedalling causing the clicking?
  22. Looks nice (mind you, I don't know much about mods). I'd maybe change/paint the yellow magura lever though.
  23. I know my current set up probably cost me about £800ish, but I'd dread to think what the grand total would be (including snapped/cracked parts, maintainence, brake blocks etc). I reckon it'd be a lot less than most people though.
  24. Even though the bikes have changed from modified mountain bikes to specialised trials bikes, I'd say more people are getting into trials now - even though the new breed of bikes is less familiar to someone than a trials bike cross mountain bike. Thing is, more people getting into trials has probably caused the bikes to evolve and become different (bigger market for trials, new companies setting up, more money into R&D to come up with these new designs/parts etc).
