  1. I'm from the netherlands. Could come over to Bruges or somewhere near if you're around there.
  2. Hah! Flying high always! I'd drive down to Munich if it wasn't for the 7 hour drive. :x Ouch. Maybe I should come by for a riding weekend. :')
  3. Got some pics of the situation maybe?
  4. Cologne as in Köln right?! I'm looking for some locations to ride that are semi close to home, this is about an 2 hr drive. There's no such locations in the netherlands..
  5. Keep it up! Already riding great. EDIT: What locations are you riding at?
  6. Well, I've had those too, and they snapped. I'm thinking it's because of the little ridges in the two pawls? I'm not sure anyway. Again, I've now joined my chain using a chain tool and the 'original' links, so I should be fine. If I'm not, I'll be doing something wrong. Hope I still have my teeth when I find out!
  7. Nice! Why not in the winter? Not a lot of riders around here, but cherish the ones you find. One day we'll have group rides every week! Keep dreaming.......
  8. Quite hard to answer this as I've used three different split links. All of them broke. I'm quite sure you don't mean that by 'they undo themselves'. Anyways, I joined my chain with a chaintool now. I rode a couple of hours yesterday and checked the axles and links, they all seem fine! I hope this holds up better. I have two KMC Z610x chains in order right now, so if it fails I have plenty of links to make a chain.
  9. Progress already! Keep on going dude. Btw, kom je weleens in de randstad?
  10. I've tried them both ways.
  11. Bought a cheap-ass chain tool. Broke it after joining the chain. At least the chain is joined now, without a split link. Hope it doesn't fail on me this time! Will order http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=36&products_id=380.. Thanks again for the tips guys!
  12. Thanks for the suggestions. Paying my lbs a visit tomorrow, if they don't have a fitting tool for me I'll order online.. Really want to go riding tomorrow.
  13. Well yeah, they do break at the split links. Getting a chain tool first thing tomorrow. Thx for the tips!
  14. Yeah as in the one without using a tool. Strange thing though, new cranks led to my chain rubbing the inside of the chainstay
  15. Ive been riding for a little over 6 months now and I've managed to break three chains already, two were KMC 610 HX.. They always snap at the split link. Any advice on alternative ways to join the chain? I can't seem to find the axles you need to join them again. So sick of the breaking chains, keeps my confidence way low..
  16. First video that makes me wanna ride an inspired. Great cut! Loved it.
  17. He has a great style and guts, but man that smack onto the concrete. He almost cracked his skull like an egg. I wouldn't take that risk.
  18. More helmets, too. Way too scary to watch!
  19. Something for trials.. Hmm
  20. Is chainless the new brakeless? Kinda takes the bike out of bike..
  21. Awesome edit, but unicycle trials always hurts me in the eyes. I mean, I respect the skill you need to do it, but it just looks so akward.
  22. Sick clip, huuuuuuge moves. Really took me by surprise. The moves on top of the roof made me shit myself. Thanks btw, you're cleaning that.
  23. Well, I just got a new set of trialtech cranks. Wasn't about to spend 400 bucks on a splined set. xD
  24. Not for me they're not. They just change the primary target from your shin to your kneecap.. Ouch!
  25. My scars protect my shins nowadays..
