what colour was the grease in the bearings? Proper king stuff it jizzy white. The split rings on kings are pretty thin like. what does your crown race look like?

The white bit is a nylon washer that goes on last. It looks fake to me. Proper king bearings have black seals with stainless steel split rings.

Who didn't see that one coming?

I'm not a mong with an allen key so I don't have these problems. The only thing I can suggest is grinding those mounts flat and trying to attatch steel 4 bolt mounts one way or another... Looking at them you could probably grind each side of the mounts to make them thinner then sit the brase on mount over it and glue it on with some alderite or something like that maybe even screw through the side. Edit: here's a pic on paint to show what I mean.

They are trying to run a business. I say go in and explain to them what happened, expect to pay the full amount and maybe ask them if there is anyway you get the price down. The £80 you paid to hire the suit dosent go towards what damage you have caused to it thats their profit.
