its near sheffield i cant say exactly where for two reasons: firstly its protected land (heather everywhere) and ur not actually allowed bikes on there, so shhhhhh dont tell anyone! its a £500 fine unless u can somehow weasel ur way out of it *cough* woody and ben *cough*. so dont want to get any of u guys lumbered with that! secondly and perhaps more importantly i dont actually know how to get there, woody drives i just film out of the window  . short bikes are ace, ive never ridden comps though, so i dont know how the sections would comapre to what i ride. when i ride i just pick lines i think i can do. glad everyone seems to like

joe have to agree wasnt too sure about the song but seemed to be in the retro mood apologies ben, i included the last bit specially for u though, thought i would remind u just how much of a retard i can be when riding! there was approx 3 mins of footage of me in that predicament!! all the moves do look smaller and far too easy when on a video, need some fancy lenses or more expert camera men (mental note to self employ a film student) cheers for the comments guys keep em coming

perhaps, money permitting, a new rear wheel. sounds like uve just started out with ur onza, as u progress u will find a better rear hub, eg a profile/echo/etc will help u at times, further to this itll be best to go with a new rim as well. its a bit expensive changing wheels but screwing up is just annoying what about forks? you sticking witht he onza ones til they are hammered?

ok folks i finally managed to get tv.isg site working and its raining outside (again!! ) so i've decided to put a vid up its a little different to my other ones, filmed around sheffield, in september when me and woody got back to uni before our near arctic conditions set in. just me and woody in the vid, both riding pashleys. (mine with silver forks). i think itreflects the more relaxed side of trials (blimey how arty of me) im trying to write a geography report so please humour me with some comments. hotel cali i think you can guess what the main song is, intro song is the subways - young for eternity cheers, hope you like

Bar & Stem Recommendations...
matthewholdsworth replied to Paul - bedfordtrials's topic in Trials Chat
i would change the stem first 75mm is super short. go for 110mm. keep the bars for now i run 90mm (10 degree rise) with DW 1.5" and they feel really nice. even a 90mm stem may feel fine. -
not the best day to be tryin that. pretty big swap though, would have been better to see it included in a long video, fewer outtakes. did show how much effort u put into it and props for sticking at it. lets see a long vid

i could add my name to ash's list above, he tends to forget about me (probably because my bike isnt silver) if im out riding with any of the lads mentioned by ash above ill be on a pashley 26 ghz anyway i have ridden burnley a few times i work at on yer bike (when not at uni) with rik duckworth he rides trials too, pop in to the shop and have a chat with him, he is always up for a ride. im usually at uni in sheffield so only home for rides at holidays, hopefully get out over christmas. good deal on the bike though!

wheel base kept changing with my forks on my pashley, went from a sweet little 1035 to 1037 then 1040. i took it as a nice build up to the long bike phenomenon and then my forks snapped! well they snapped when i pulled the legs off, they just cracked and gave me a lovely bent 1075 wb. (and a negative bb rise) chris u sure ur forks are ok?? dont want to panic u but might be worth a check slightly OT sorry folks ----- should be between 1060-1070 i would guess
-
ultimate in shortness! probs a wheelbase of around 1000-1020 depending on forks
-
holy flurkin shnit! committing to front wheel with a broken wrist, looks cool, but hardly a sensible thing to do with a broken wrist. awesome kicker ramp, i might have to make one of them!! recovery riding was insane, if i hadnt seen other videos i wouldnt have known anything was wrong!! bad song choice though, i mean come on you hardly found it difficult to "come back" (sorry awful joke (Y) ). enjoyed that
-
that is lush!!!! get some real hardcore street riding done and lets see the beast ridden! ps can i have a go please???? (Y)
-
what frame u riding now. if like me ur on a short bike (by short i mean 1040 or less) then goin to thesuper long high bb bikes may be too big a step. try the control as an intermediate in that case. if ur already long low and silver thn the high bb i would go for is the hi-fi i mean come on look at it shine!!!

woohoooo i got a vote!!! can i vote for myself?
-
thats some style!!! so smooth on stuff thats just big plain, and he had never ridden leeds before!! nicely done
-
can i ask a few if not answer which ever you want......... do you know how much George W has screwed your economy since he took over from clinton? Why not vote for a president who would actually introduce full medicare systems (or similar)? Is tomato ketchup still classed as a vegeable, since now "freedom Fries" are? is it really true some states refuse to call them french fries because of the french refusal to go into an illegal pointless war? Will hillary clinton be your next president? Who shot JFK? currently what state of alert is USA? Do u get the feelin im anti your inept president? hope i dont offend u with any of these

i buy new ones lol! didnt know his would work may have to try it if i ever contaminate them
-
wooohoooo someone else used a giant box 2!!! triple clamps made things a little difficult, mine didnt have a quil stem though. upgraded it with maguras (raceline yellow), then some nice red judy race forks, oh and a nice 32t gold rockring and red fsa powerpros then came 15" handsome dog rockhound, still ran the judys until 3 months before i got a new frame, pride and joy orange zero, a proper trials bike, it only took me 3 years! after that got nicked im now on my pashley 26ghz. 4 bikes in 6 years and only 2 of them proper trials bikes cant believe how many bikes some of you lot have had
-
ditto those comments! the pashley 26ghz is one of the nicest frames in terms of finish the welds are virtually invisible. (maybe im bias - see my profile for some slightly dated pics (now running hi-fi forks) the koxx caisso is one of the best looking frames for its "not so silver looks" colour is always a bonus (til u fall off and scrath it lol)
-
oh yes, very nice indeed!!! thats some style you've got goin on there and a very nice skate park! another one please!!
-
sick with a capital S and I, C, K by the looks of things. im glad you didnt pm bigman as ive been waiting to hear how these rims hold up. wanting a wider rear rim on my 26Ghz. running an EX721 brake performance dies as pads wear down by half. the general consensus seems to be they are a good purchase. is the lack of eyelets proving a problem for anyone? does decrease strength i believe? i have an urge to go green but it would look a bit poo with a burgundy pashley!!
-
its all been said before but that was one of the best editted videos i've ever seen. really watchable the credits are hilarious! top quality! any reason to tie porter up in an inner tube and soak him while making a valiant attempt at riding a unicycle??? Caption competition: after this Theresa fully understood why ben loved his bike!

nothing a good alu welder and a few transfer plates cant solve (erm but then again i do geography so that might not work) nice job crippling that frame, and i may jsut have to claim a go on the gu when im home (Y)
