  1. second watch, so good, that 90 degrees frenchie thing looks so hard, i struggle to comprehend the level it requires to ride brakeless at a good level. i really like how its done though, the little things like landing with back wheel on the back edge to slow/stop you dead, something i bet takes alot of adjusting too. liked the music, it had a certain ambience ive not come across with a video before. what frame is that btw?
  2. been following this thread since it started, so good to know 26 isnt considered grandad just yet, looked at hermances bio and i think he was 31/32 and benito was 33, so us older lads can take huge solace in the fact elite riders are in their 30s
  3. 116 dropouts i presume? you lathed it down? sorry to go off topic, just curious, second watch was just as satisfying
  4. no idea how you do what you do without brakes, being just on the rear wheel without brakes i imagine is massively hard. sick riding, your style impresses me everytime. lee mill looks ace, would love to give that place a visit, front freewheel btw?
  5. this. the tgs scene is on its arse. brilliant vid rewse, nice little toetickler in there aswell. nice elbows
  6. after looking on the market for new forks i came across these on the framekit, wow something iv wanted for years is a straight blade fork with huge dropouts, i used to run the kona p2 fork years ago and loved it, are these available on their own? steel + straight blade on a uci blade = huge win, assuming they fit 26 wheels ok
  7. possibly so, if im honest i cant remember, its been along time, im sure adam will pm me with details
  8. i think some people view it kind of like the cliche of skateboarding, aimed at teens as an outlet for their teen angst and rebellion. 'tricks on a bmx' never fails to annoy me :'( do you find self preservation kicking in more adam with age, thats something thats not hit yet, but im worried about it to be honest. midlife crisis over here
  9. One thing i hate about trials forum, Chinese wispers, im sure there both top lads, regardless of that, theyv both done alot for the sport in some way or another, the thing is things get taken out of context and portayed wrong online, trials is a great sport in the fact that its not that big, and most people when you meet face to face are genuinely interested in the other person, but in the same respect its like a little village inbetween towns, everybody knows eachother and theres always some daft story about somebody or something. Emmerdale mk 2 if you will.
  10. such a good thread, i myself have been wondering if im to old too ride at the ripe old age of 26, i feel its deemed by joe public socially unacceptable to ride after the age of about 23ish, mainly because when people ask on the street and you tell them they raise an eyebrow, but id much rather ride and do something i see as a good outlet then play football or go drinking every 2 minutes.. its good to see some lads on here been riding like 15 years or so and still enjoying it, personally the past few years iv had a love hate relationship with trials, i love it but unless im pushing myself i easily tire of it, but recently iv decided i think a slight change to my riding may be needed, just to keep it fresh, gonna try concentrate more on style and tech rather then tryna kill myself every 2 minutes can i ask you lads who are older then me, do you feel like you should of quit by now? my family give me a hard time over riding and i think this is were the idea of being 'too old' has stemd from. your at a physical peak from 21 through till about 35 if you keep youreself in good nick :wink2: brilliant thread, nice to see some lads with oldschool knees
  11. need to ride level, INCREASED.
  12. FINALLY, echo are making good stems again, not a fan of the sloping though. the oldschool wings = win! great bike, Deng was a good man and a true innovator.
