  1. I like my hub to make noise so I can gauge my speed, but that's about it, I don't see why people think louder hub = better. Obviously if you fill your hub with grease its gonna be silent and shit, but stripping it of all grease doesn't really help at all, just means it's more likely to wear out and die.
  2. That's actually what they suggest you use for making your own ground glass for adaptors like this
  3. Yeah you have 31.8. The Halfords bars are really good for the money
  4. Maybe it was, but now it's G for Gold

You were right, Euro is 68mm threaded, so you'll be fine

You're wrong. There's US, Mid, Spanish, and Euro. This is a BMX Euro BB Threaded cups with bearings, but no axle, because that's part of the cranks. The bearings will either be 19 or 22mm ID.

Mine was, if that's any help?
  8. Just come up and hope for the best?
  9. Yeah, and you have double butted spokes, I'm running nice plain gauge white trialtech spokes sure if I went to some nice DB spokes I'd drop some g's!
  10. Really? Rim is 314g, hub is 136g, bolts are 21g, spokes are 148g, nipples are 10g, rotor is 88g, bolts are 14g, tube is 130g, rim tape is 3g and tyre is 418g. Guess if I went with some ti bits and bobs it would be lighter Oh and I've got my rear hub down to 381g now thanks to ti bolts and lighter washers
  11. My front wheel weighs 629g. 731g with rotor and bolts, and 1282g with tyre, tube and rimtape My rear wheel weighs 903g. 1032g with rotor and bolts (damn long bolts and standard rotor), and 2048g with tyre, tube and rimtape. I'm awaiting my frame tomorrow, should be about 7.931kg if the weight I've been told is correct, but will find out definitely tomorrow
  12. Where did your XTP2 crack then Dave?
  13. You'll still need to run a tensioner though, or make one, check this thread for inspiration. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=95273
  14. One part orange* squash, 4 parts water. Mmmm, I call it "orange squash". *Can substitute for other flavour such as black current, tropical, lemon and lime, etc.
  15. Joe I can ring or text you anyway. Castle Park at 11 then?
  16. Well the Monty stem is already close to £80
  17. Okay I'll start... JonMack Ben Johnson Jon (Papa Manual) Luke Simps Skoze (Marvin the Martian) Nick (Eskimo) Joe (yoyoyo) Mat (theprat) I'm pretty sure those are the definite attendees, but I'm sure there are more coming. Luke and I were talking and we said maybe start at Cumberland Basin (Sleepers), then work our way into town? Meet somewhere between 11 and 12? But I dunno... could start in Bear Pit, or CP, then work our way out towards the Basin? Either way I'd like to ride there some time in the day.
