  1. It's not the headset, there are no cracks, and I don't run a bashguard.
  2. Leaving mine in about 25 mins to ride to Bens, be there about 11, just before.
  3. No. Drive side tightens anti clockwise, non-drive tightens clockwise (standard way) However with pedals, non-drive tightens anti clockwise, and drive tightens clockwise Fun times. The way I remember pedals is always turn towards the front wheel. BB is therefore always turn towards the back wheel
  4. Old both, worked perfectly two weeks ago in my old bike. Looks like next paycheque is gonna be dropped on a new BB then. Reset Ti anyone?
  5. probably!! Yeah I've done all of that, it only creaks when I put power down, it's kinda like the last 1/4 of the right hand pedal stroke, but to be honest I can live with it. Chain line is as good as it can be. Monty ISIS cranks, 18t Surly sprocket, 124mm Fsa Platinum Pro BB, CK ISO BMX hub
  6. What an awesome review! Nice work.
  7. We'll be around CP for a while anyway, if we're not up the top have a little look down the bottom by the benches, might be chilling and warming up down there.
  8. No matter what I do my BB wont stop creaking. I've taken everything out about 4896058367035489 times, greased EVERYTHING, cleaned EVERYTHING, greased EVERYTHING again, and it still creaks. The only thing I've changed is crank bolts, and frame, could it just be the BB settling into the frame?
  9. Why are you running a 203 on the back?
  10. Same way that it goes into the lever I would imagine.
  11. As Mr. Kristaps said, what're the advantages of swapping the bleed/hose connections? How're you bleeding it now? Syringe from caliper to lever?
  12. Yeah it's an Eagle Claw From todays session I'm loving it, not as confident on it yet but it's really nice! No you're not you fat f**k
  13. Cut V12 Mags. Rear disc is amazing, been running it for the last year and wouldn't have anything else now.
  14. We're heading up the basin in a bit, be there in an hourish.
  15. It arrived at 10am this morning I got it from Adam second hand Yes that's right it's not brand new
  16. Just realised the rear brake lever is at a stupid angle that's cos I was kinda trying but failing to bleed it earlier. Just gonna go to work and do a proper job rather than bodge it
  17. Well, after snapping the Dob on the disc mount, ordering a Bionic and not being able to get it in time for Sundays Bristol ride, I reluctantly had to buy this instead. Frame: Koxx XTP Marco Hösel Fork: Dob Headset: Chris King Bars: Monty Ti Stem: Monty Ti Grips: Try-all Foam Front Brake: Hope Mono Trial/Monty Kamel Front Wheel: Monty/Trial-Tech/Halo/Dob Front Rim Tape: Selotape Front Tube: Kenda Front Tyre: Try-Alll (cut) Cranks: Monty Ti Sprocket: Echo BB: FSA Platinum Pro Pedals: DMR V12 Mag Ti (cut) Chain: KMC 510G Rear Brake: Hope Mono Trial/Hayes Rear Wheel: Chris King BMX ISO/Trial-Tech/Halo/Dob Rear Rim Tape: Selotape Rear Tube: Kenda Rear Tyre: Monty Eagle Claw (cut) Snail Cams: Monty Total Weight: 7.973kg Few cheeky things like Ti axles and Ti funbolts, Alloy crankbolts etc. but overall it's a pretty standard build. Have now put my spare Dob forks on with the longer steerer and 20mm of spacers to bring the bar height up a bit, it's added a few g's to the weight, but I'll soon lose that again only planned changes are sprocket, and maybe ti bolts and re-routed plastic hoses Ali C/Tarty Adam style in the future if they're gonna knock some weight off and not change the brake performance. Big thanks to Adam, as it's his old frame. Oh yeah, he built his up on 2nd April 2008, I built mine 3rd April 2009, he went from a Dob to this, I've gone from a Dob to this. Anyway, thanks a lot Adam I really appreciate it.- http://www.tartybikes.co.uk
