  6. I'm pretty sure Kenny Belaey knows how to setup his bike.
  7. I'm sure you could sell a lot of them for a tenner!
  8. Was going to say the same thing. It's not very likely any of us will know Travis well enough to ask him about his cymbal setup, plus that post pretty much explains everything.

  15. Hey everyone. I've finally got round to putting up a proper portfolio on my site, I know in comparison to someone like Mike S, Joe, or Mike D's it's not that special, but I think there's some good stuff on there. All the music shots are from the last 2 months, and pretty much the rest of the shots have all been taken within the last 6 months too. The address is http://www.jonmack.co.uk/portfolio/ Let me know what you think, Cheers Jon
  16. The use of the word Shikari and the fact the first letter of the first word is E, is a very bad move.
  17. Nice ignorance on your part, completely dimissing the fact that like everyone else has mentioned, Hope already make trials specific parts, Tartybikes even got custom engraved brakes/hubs from them to sell, so they're obviously making a fair amount of money from the products, otherwise it wouldn't be worthwhile to make trials specific parts with a trials shop logo on them. Think about how many people use Hope hubs, only a few years ago the XC/Mono was THE hub to use when Chris Kings were rarer than rocking horse shit, and so expensive only the real pro's could afford them, if they wanted to. Now how many people use a Pro2? I reckon it's above 50% of the stock riders in the country, with the rest either using a different Hope model, a King, or a Deng/Try-All hub. I think that it would be a smart move on Hopes part, if the modifications werent too hard (eg. using the same hub shell, just with a redesigned axle, I don't know if this is possible though). Even if it required a complete redesign of the hub shell, I still think it would be a valid idea, I know if I didn't have a King I'd much rather run a rear Hope hub than a FFW. All in all, good idea man. EDIT: Simpson, if that's how everyone thought, trials would never evolve. "Who needs trials specific frames/hubs/rims/tyres/stems/brakes/etc.? leave em alone... Generic MTB parts are great"
  18. No, buy Leopard. http://lifehacker.com/software/geek-to-liv...lity-311618.php Looks like Lifehacker answered your prayers today.
  19. I dunno if I'm the only one to think this, but you come across as a bit of a know it all douchebag, that's why I wouldnt buy your CD.
  20. Is it the right cable? IE is it crossover? It should be as easy as this: Connect Ethernet to Mac Connect Ethernet to PC Turn Sharing on Mac (Sys Pref>Sharing>File Sharing) Click Options on File Sharing window Tick "Share files and folders using SMB" and tick the user account you wish to share with Turn Sharing on PC (Right click on folder>Sharing and Security>Share this folder>Tick the two boxes in the second box) PC will appear in left hand bar of Mac Finder (under "Shared") Click on PC name Click "Connect As" Enter Username/Password Click on the shared folder you want to access. Should be sorted. I don't know about doing it the other way round as I don't have a PC to hand, but that's how it should work. You should probably try running the "Setup a Home Network" wizard on the PC, I had to do that on the PC at work when it stopped working once, just made sure the workgroup name was ok and it worked.
  21. Thanks for whoever emailed me on my website after getting the link from here. Probably should remember I have stats software so... leads me to So as you see the referring link was here

    Bristol Stack

    Youve been framed, £250, sweet.
  23. Well if you've got Leopard it should just show up in the sidebar, that's what the Windows shares on my network do, then you just click on the computer name. Try pinging the IP in Network Utility (Applications>Utilities>Network Utility) and if that works let me know, I don't see why it wouldnt work to be honest.
  24. Hmmm. Have you got a shared folder setup on your PC?
