Or you could just get Quicksilver and make your dock redundant. Tomm, it will run fine on your Powerbook, and you can keep everything if you "Archive and Install" (which is on the screen when you choose the hard drive you want to install it on, just click "Options" and choose Archive and Install, will preserve your files, network settings, and everything, and makes a folder called "Previous Installations" with your old OS files in, incase you need something)

The best way to do it is to make sure you're not connected to the internet when you set it up (dont plug in your ethernet cable/dont connect to your wireless network). Then you can login without registering, then just remove the registration link from your dock. Simple.
